I wish he had an undead look. Like Undead Warriors from World of Warcraft,(Laintime!!)

This hero is really hard to kill if the user is really good. God's strength can pull your leg for sometimes, but if the time of usage is right, that's the end for you, and your tower.

yeh..but medusa'a purge decreases svens as & ms for 5 seconds in those 5 seconds sven can only attack medusa a couple of times while medusa can just keep on attacking him..makes up for the low base damage. Theres also medusa's chain lightning, 7 seconds cooldown.

medusa can pretty much own sven with guinsoo and desolator. When I play medusa againts sven my items are mekansm, linken, guinsoo, treads, desolator, and butterfly.

It really depends on the one using the hero... What i could say is, Sven DOESNT only depends on GS... When the user is good, he will just buy an MoM then aegis and DIVINE when he fights against medusa... No need 4 GS...

rootfrellen is a better combo with SVEN, imagine overgrowth then sven just keeps whacking on a hero with GS and MoM on? and living armor can make sven harder to kill...

Medusa OWNS Sven. If he doesn't activate god's str, just purge him all the same. Continue whacking until he regains full move and attack speed, then use guinsoo( turn in him to a creep) and attack again. Finish off with chain lightning.

Butterfly, guinsoo, Eye of Skadi, MkB, Buriza, and treads,
If Sven buys high attack items, just pump in mana, replace Mkb with soul booster/aghanim.

stall when he has gods strength activated, usually afta storm bolt so watch out

stun him or stall him for 25 seconds if he has gods strength activated. just out of attack range and if u can range attack, do it cos he can storm bolt u to catch up anyway. he activates it, guinsoo him, hurt his quite a bit and a basher will be useful too if ur melee.

try using medusa or anub'arak againts this hero or bane

i tried 6 raieper and god's strength and i didn't get like i was supose to i had 1500+ damage and then after ulti 1700+ damage

Only damage from strength is multiplied; the divine rapier does not provide any strength, and therefore God's Strength doesn't give you any bonuses on it.

This brings me to my conclusion that a divine rapier is a foolish item unless it's just for fun when the game's already over. But I also wonder why nobody has suggested a Satanic. In addition to having more life steal, it gives an additional strength boost, multiplying his attack damage from God's Strength.

In short, what would you rather have? A brief boost with higher attack speed and 20% higher damage taken (which is nothing to sneeze at), or an extra 25 damage, 8% more life steal than MoM even ignoring activation of the item, and an additional 37 damage when God's Strength is activated? I understand the idea of getting in more hits when they're stunned, but it's also nice if each of those hits is that much harder on them and more beneficial to you.

Also, what about the Assault Cuirass? He always benefits from more armor, but the additional attack speed and reduced armor of the opponent makes it almost a comical item on him. I would save it for late game, though.

Lol or how bout using bradwarden....imagine the damage return if he has one or 2 chainmails...

my basic sven:
treads,MoM,battlefury,heart,assault,(basher,buriza or satanic) the lifesteal of satanic will override the lifesteal of MoM I only use MoM for the frenzy
againts heavy disablers:
treads, MoM, BKB, battlefury, heart,(any item)

this hero is so strong but the combo of stun then godstrenght only will not work because the enemy will surely flee immediately.

Why doesn't sven get MoM for frenzy and BKB for avatar. He could go back and forth for frenzy, avatar, and Godstrength. I've tried MoM but never with a BKB. Would there be any problems with this?

When played as a hero who relys on ulti for kills he can be weak. But hes a str hero, so buff agil items and his already high base dmg can pwn almost all. For medusa with Bfly and BoT you can avoid lotsa hits and own her by atckn faster... my .02

I got this hero Satanic, Buriza, Butterfly MKB on this guy. Your ulti does massive damage while losin nearly no health

Just pump his damage and hp and you can win 1v1 with no problem

sven owned medussa. black king bar she cant purge him. my mid game items bluid treads, black king bar, mask of madness, battle fury. acttive black king bar first then god and mask. owns for sure (items does not stack i've tried)

if u get faceless void an arcane ring + 2 nulls, he would hav enough mana for 2 chronos and refresher at lvl 14, assumin u farm well

I just randomed this guy twice and what I did was:

RoR, Boots, 4 bracers, Treads, swap RoR for MoM.

After that (treads, MoM, 4x bracer) i merely swapped out bracers one by one with messerschmidt's reavers. After I had 4 reavers I swapped reavers for hearts. By the end I had 5k HP and (with gods strength) was doing over 600 dmg per hit (. Its really quite fun.

I expect to die alot early game though cuz sven hasn't much defensively except for a 5 armor aura (which ends up pushing your creep wave putting you into a gankable position =[).

What's up with great cleave anyway? Does anyone actually get that ability? I never even got it and farmed just fine so its hardly a farming tool.

This guy is just strait up brute force tank and damage, nothing more. Just so long as there is no purge it seems like heaps of strength gives the most benefit (with Gods Strength, a Messerschmidt's reaver gives 475 HP and 62 damage!).

Who needs fancy items, Pure strength does it just fine. Best part is if they run away from your gods strength and wait for it to "go away" they are going to lose a tower and probably their rax. Don't try this against Medusa!

Great Cleave + 1 Battlefury = 85% Splash damage. If your vs'ing 3 melee heroes at once with God's Strength Activated, you can win (assuming they are all in front of you.)

Mass Furies is highly amusing. You get two maybe three and then you do more to the guy you're not attacking.
Anyone who does not get Treads and MoM and at least one Fury is an idiot! Or else the people they play against are.

one 1st skill for escaping and I will not learn the super skill unti i have Madness... Is it good because I thought i could have basillius with his 3rd skill for higher armor?

i try this inventory and i killed enchantress, visage and venomancer at the same tym. their damage is just an ant ite to you and it cant harm you!

† for sven,,, i think 2 bracers will do... den power treads, den, s and y, den, battle fury, then heart,,,, the rest will dpend on the situation,,, in the early games,,, you must be gud in last hiting on the creeps,,, stay away from atacks but be sure u always have exp pts..

last hitting will lessen the push you can do,,,,, dat s gud especially when u r facing vengefull that can swap-stun u to the tower...or faceless void that will use chrono on u near the tower...hehe,, in the early games, i prefer to put on the aura den the stun,,then the stats,,i put on cleave when i already has a battle fury.....

battle fury sucks is for noobs, get PT mask of madness and HoT so u can fully uterlize god strength because ur attack are way too slow and not use god's strength effectively, and maybe an BKB if vsing defusal blades, purge, eul's or vsing disablers

hard to farm but if you're good in a nice long ap/ar game its fun. God Strength lasts for a short while, but what if they dont know its even on for that short time?

My Usual Kill-

-Lothars in to get few extra hits
-Which guess what ? means you still have your stun !!! yayy

Lothars can really help get the edge with some attack speed combined with treads.

Heart gives that hp regen and some boost to your GS

MoM good lifesteal and frenzy! cheaper than satanic, and heart fills the strength hole

Bfury is LAST priority but will help later with regen farming and if they gank you :) they usually fail :)

and always remember LOTHARS ON SVEN IS GOOD JUST TRY IT!

hard against a good panda as anyone realized the wind panda dispel dispels godstrength? plus the stun and panda is faster with a lot of hp

look I know shiva shoulder gives "Intellegent" But it slows attack rate of enemeys and Slows "MS" when used by 40% :) also give 200 damage and if u don't want it there is also the blinking item don't remember name but it is above the ultimate orb So :) there is no problem at all :D linken sphere also and ur immune to this purge once every 20 sec :D :D

the best oppenent for this hero is dragon knight i think because this game makes much fun... i tested it with mi friend and it was nize...

when i have the money, im upgrading to mask of madness, BDK, Satanic and many more! Sometimes, i have 10000+ gold, 8+ kills and only 2 deaths with him, not yet reaching lvl 22 i won! lol love him....

for Goliath_DARK: btw, i killed Centaur, but only in a lvl 25/25 conditon. (meaning sven is lvl 25 and the enemy is also lvl 25) the end score is.. is a tie!!! 3/3 is the score.. so hard to kill him, you need to have 5% high hp, 5% nice timing, 50% strategy resourcefulness and equips, 40% FAITH AND LUCK!

i think you need satanic to counter the counter for this guy.. which would be blade mail... lol

is a 2x HoT, Satanic, MoM, Power Treads, Stygian build good on this guy..?

I tried a triple heart+ MoM build with this guy and the guy i was fighting couldnt even get my health down to 1/4..!

There isn't such thing as perfect build in 5v5 game.Except for the basic items for Sven, the rest of the item build greatly depends on the game situation, what heroes are you vs-ing

1v1..? two hearts for god's strength and to counter -30 hp persecond of armlet.. armlet of mordiggian.. then mom.. Battle fury to stack with cleaving for xtra gold.. then if you can still afford it hyperstone and bot/treads....

most important items for me are the first three...

when im playing w/ him i use blink dagger for chase. dagger->bolt combo. and its good to surprise your enemies. Its so hard for me to make the most perefect build because he's great w/ many orb items lyk mom, satanic, sny, skadi, deso.

yets say this... sven is strong, but all you need is simply someone who can stop sven from even coming close to that person... why then ranged would be best... decoys work well, so maybe phantom lancer... someone who can perhaps double his damage is Phantom Assasin!

Sen it's so powerfull but her can be killed very easy , just buy a Diffusal Blade and he is done

Lol, how are you going to kill him that easy? Difusal blade would supposedly knock out his God's Strength. That alone does not mean you can kill him easily

Ok i like using this Hero and i tried this build,not bad could do nice dmg. Ok here goes,1st item threads,2nd item Mask of Madness,3rd buriza,4th hyperstone or if have money assault cuirass,if the game haven end,HoT or Bloodstone which adds mana:D Ok i explain myself,remember his ulti,GS?It rocks with fast atckers and it will hurt badly,MoM becoz of berserk!beserk with threads and GS hurt even more
buriza stack with GS even bter.hyperstone,assault cuirass pump speed up.lifesteal,GS,nice sven.

2. Power treads str
3. helm of dominator
4. Heart or turn Helm into Satanic

He is a tanker not a DPSER

sven is godly on a team full of disablers. god's strength and mask of madness is all you need to wipe out a team/towers.

Krayzee, I think U need Battlefury in your build. By pushing faster the creeps waves you will go to the towers really easily.
