Darchrow - The Enigma

Powerful hero killer, farmer and pusher. Fear this hero as the user gives everyone pain until your very doom. Great with Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse, Dagon 5, Necronomicron, and Aegis of the Immortal.

midnight pulse is useful. use it and then cast the black hole so that the enemy can't escape. if you are quick in mouse and keyboard, ready your Eidolons to attack the enemy when it is casting the black hole. And when you see that the enemy wants to escape and it has low hp after your attack, cast the 1st spell.

I swear to god I've never seen anyone get any kind of streak with this thing. I can see how it could work, but, well, not really.

hes hard to use, ulti is good for farming and hero slayin and is mainly a ranged hero slayer.

A powerfull farm, support hero but average killer (maybe very good against noob for his malefice). Ulti requires skill or you will pull death to you. He's no good at late game.

easy to kill with ulti, very very usefull hero when ganking. You will make them leave if you know how to use him. . probably one of the best ulti for winning a gank. can double or triple kill.

refresher could be a great help... great immobilizer... blink will do the trick... :D

I've seen this in action. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.. from my brother. Very very unique and fun stat to go on enigma, capable of killing at least 2 heroes depending on how fast you are.

i dont really concentrate on malefice that much im a fan of conversion and midnight pulse + Black hole although 650 mana is not by any means a small amount and using a necronimicon u can use conversion on the demon guys it summons if ur alone in the woods for a duel

I truely don't understand how enigma counts as a good guy when you consider his origin, but hell, who am I to complain? He still kills yo ass when he gets the chance.

Hey 4 sec disable ultimate + a stun disable is no shit. It gives LOADS of time for yr teammates to wipe out an entire 5-hero team. Not to mention if u have CM around the duo just deal death everywhere they go. His usefulness to team ganks is so underestimated around here, i find to my dismay.

i randomed this guy and i found out.... I SUCK WITH HIM! i got BoT, Lvl 3 Necro, Dagon, soul booster and soloed mid against abaddon and klinkz.... WTF!? none of my allies came to help me either

hes not a hero killer hes a support hero, so play like one. Dont rush in Black hole is very powerful but once u cast it theres a big target on ur head so use it at the right time. I used him today, Purge/manta is very effective. Radience is also a must (as soon as u get some hp/armor/spell reduc whichever situation calls for).

Lol yeh, radiance, dagon, necro, BoT, guinsoo's and one more of choosing for whatever situation should do it. Conversion> Necro> Midnight Pulse> Black Hole> Malefact> Dagon. Finish, Other hero should be pretty screwed over by now.

Lvl 1 Eidolon gives about 20dmg
Lvl 4 gives about 50dmg

I don't recommend Dagon because it is a waste of money and very worthless late game, but.. EoS is good, especially when you DON'T buy Dagon so you can get it early/mid game. (depends on how you farm)

Otherwise, alright guide, 7/10.

Course dagon is useless with enigma, its an aoe hero, dont care about killing only one. Play enigma in team ! Just go radiance asap to improve black hole. A dagger may be helpful to run away (enig is really slow) and to cast black hole (melee range).

In an AR game our team ended up with Enigma and Crixalis, who joined up mid. Needless to say every time our ults refreshed we owned something. This is what Enigma is all about.

Black hole is the Goddess of Disables, there is no better disable.

Good heroes to combine with:

Magnataur, CM, Crix, Bradwarden, Sven, Earthshaker, Treant, Techies, Witchdoctor (easiest maledict ever), Leshrac.

AND pretty much anyone else with an AOE, AOE disable, etc.

Worst enemy: Spectre. Disperse once and your channeling is over.

Enigma + Leshrac + Pitlord + Techies
Massive damage in one area.
One Rikimaru to pick off the people who still live through that much damage

Couldn't have agreed more. Black Hole owns. I believe that if you take BKB you should be immune to dispersion.

BkB might also help to run and isnt really expensive but if there is no mercurial in game, i think there is no point in buying one, your mates can help you to prepare black hole.

i've reached dominating i think in just level 8 plus two towers destroyed.. and most of my enemies has STR attributes..

This hero is a great farmer...

the ulti only deals 240 at lvl one. even sync'd with midnight pulse and malefice, i would still find that difficult to kill a strength hero, unless they were around half health.

Speed and accuracy while casting Midnt
puls and Malefice is way to kill
+ Final Black hole within Aoe of midnit puls makes sure the enemy stays inside.

U will also be shocked at the kills u get by Maelstorm and Radiance combo.

Skadi and Guinsoo once again to keep the enemy slow and disabled within midnit
PS :Beware of Balanar...

to go for coz u wud really get kills for the team especially in AoE spells like his.

To kill a hero upon sight, first malefice, activate necro in the mean time, then midnight pulse the hero while he is stunned, and then do your black hold on him. The combined damage of the necro+midnight pulse+black hole will surely kill them. Radiance or a refresher will also help. But you must make sure you have ample mana for 2 ults and a refresher.

Good farmer and pusher. I still don't know if Conversion can really deny, but I've tried it and I made gaps. As for hero killing, I find it hard to do so if you don't have Radiance and Refresher. I'm going to make a guide about this dude, don't really know what to put.

BTW,
Enigma's ulti, Black Hole, would be imba if it did a lot of damage. Black Hole was meant to stun,disable and finish off, it wasn't meant for instant kills. And Enigma was meant for team battles, people who go beyond with this on solo games are either too good or too lucky because their enemies are noobs.

The pulses (If you kept them in their AoE) should bring them down to 2%, which should be taken care of by attacks and/or the black hole damage.

a good strat for this guy is.
summon 6 eidolons
Necronomicon - 2 necros to attack
Manta - 2 clones to attack

once u have ur decay and ult up u can have 10 people attacking a target

Necro is pretty neat on this guy, but not really manta. He never needed the clones. The eidolons are always enough, added to necro's summons. Necro's aura helps you and your team too.

Necronomicon on this hero is a really good counter to heroes like SA, Gondar, Clinkz. When they pop out hit them with malefice, use necro book, use pulse, and rail away. You can also choose to use your ulti to suck them in for a sure finish but I try to usually save that for multi hero fights.

HES GODLIKE. I have been playing enigma for a while lately because hes never used so most people don't know how to counter him. FOR YOUR INFORMATION THIS GUY IS GOD LIKE LATE GAME. A FOUR SECOND CHRONOSPHERE LIKE THING where allies can still attack. And a spell that takes out 40% of your hp if you stay in the midnight pulse for too long. Not too mention his first spell needs no explanation. Get skadi on him. Then midnight pulse and attack/malefice to slow/stun and can kill without black hole.

in early game u should buy dagger as fast as u can...
for me,I will buy 5branc and tango at 1 more slot,and keep farm untilu get dagger...
once u got dagger,its easy to use the ulti...if u ulti all 5 hero,corectly,no hero can disable u...huhu....the GODLY ultimate in all hero...
