Undeniably, Lich has one of the most powerful ultimates in DotA! Frost will bounce back and forth between units that are within 750 Range, jumps 6 times for 280 damage per hit at level 1 and can reach up to 580 damage per hit with the Scepter? Ya' gotta be kiddin' me, amigo! All skills are active, that's the bad thing about this guy! You might like it but not me! Even 1 passive skill is enough for me! Why, coz it's kinda confusin'! I'm a n00b when it comes to INT Types but not with Lich! But this dude is freakin' COOL! Devastating when used wisely!

mekansm + arcane ring... lich needs no fountain after all...

u dont need arcane ring with this hero, just dark ritual. its better to do that because u get mana and ur denyin ur enemy exp/gold. my build is BoT, dagon, refresher, meka, aghanim. meka cast on self, frost armour and frost nova should take care of ur defense.

chain frost can bounce between 2 enemy heroes + refresher = over 4.5k in damage. turn up ur volume cos this is all ur goin to be hearing... "HOLY SHIT" (what it sez when uve got a big streak)

My friends and i like to combo heroes, and one of our favourites is Lich and Earthshaker. The bull blinks, and throws echo slam, stuns and cleans the creeps, Lich Throws his ulti and its Triple Kill.

exactly, thats why u should buy a refresher, instant 2320 damage between 3 heroes.

does armor block some of chain frost damage?

anyone else have problems with the frost armor autocast. i cast it onmyself then click autocast and it just goes off every 40 seconds or so but not for me. it just wastes it. and then i have to recast on myself. and if i just straight auto, it will never cast on me..... WTF

Aghanims is now a stronger item on Lich because it gives 7 bounces. Of course the 60 second cooldown on Chain Frost means Lich can wreak more havoc than just being relegated to support.

frost armour auto casts on the weakest unit. its not a problem, thats how it has always been.
ive never played lich as a support hero, so i dont understand what that guy is talkn about.

YEAHH!!!!! Lich is the number one intel hero in my book. he might not be the meatiest of the bunch (hella, he has no meatat all) but infinite mana and a rockin' ulti make up for that!!

lich is a piece of crap, if u get stunned while doing the ulti it cancels and it doesnt bounce.

Whoever told u that Chain Frost cancels if Lich is stunned? And whever told you it doesn't bounce if Lich is stunned? He's not Crystal Maiden FYI.

for me to play lich. 1st i will up dark ritul ( to deny creep when game start) buy 8 tagon and the rest of money to buy iron wood. After that keep Frost Nova on enermy once cd is done. (Note: u can make 2hit after frost nova)

5. Hood of Defiance

7. soul booster (i think dunnit build til here)
When lich Frost Armor lvl 4 with shiva then it damage reduce wil bcome 72%. And Hood of Defiance got 30% mdef, so end up it wont get so pain in magic also.
With 1st 4item already can kick alot enermy ass.

Yes if the enemy of lich is Attack type that don't need spell damage

even though theres only one hero at my lane...my frost bounces back to him even without creeps...

this hero is a killer...why build a mekansm if you have a boots of travel??
why build a support type if you can kill 3 heros at once??

this is one of my fav hero....

get a HoD and this hero's ulti wont be that strong

if two heroes get too cocky and chase you, once their isolatred from their creeps just use chain frost and if one of them is still standing use dagon

well he does not need mana... just hit point regeneration... so its better of you build a mekanism or anything that would support his Hp regeneration and sonthing to add up to his defence... well his Chain Frost is Wicked but needs to be used ba a pyofessional..

id prefer to use this with either sand king or liviathan... in normal mode but in all pic.. enigmas the best :D

He's just good in the start so prevent your enemy from lvlng up!!! try maximizing add on damage for Mega Kills... Dagon5 is your finisher here!!! Be smart in casting Chains and Nova... try casting Nova when there are near crips to damage nearby crips...

bracer bracer mekanism soulbooster aghanims BOT (is a must) then refresher. shame on whoever says treads. i wasn't aware that he needed the IAS...lol

maybe a battle lich? maybe it the armor from the agi and the hp from the str, and the ms? no idea. i've never seen it done.

the best way to start lich king is to buy boots and a tango at the beggining playing first and third spell you will get easy first kills after this you can buy anything you want i suggest aganims

hey this is one of the best heroes in dota

he owns

if he is in 1vs1 he can make the difference buying a dagon 1, but without upgrading it and the selling it in late game

ulti ownzzzz!!!!!!!! just let ur enemy collect some creeps then nova him/her, then make sure the enemy is near the creeps and he wont run away so u can CHAIN FROST!!! Next to Necrolyte, he is my ulti!

if properly armed (with spell reduction and HoT), Naga Siren MIGHT be able to counter Lich's ulti 1 on 1..... Naga with manta and illusion splits into 6. Ulti double bounces on one only...Yea, illusions take 300% damage, but with a high hp and armor (reistance build), all 6 might survive the chain frost. Then Lich loses his AoE. And 6 nagas are pounding away his mana with feedback from manta style. An intelligent hero with no mana is no longer intelligent.He's a piece of meat for exp and gold XD

Naga isnt a good counter, frost armor makes him impossible to chase.

LIch sux.... His ulti could give 1120 dmg when there are only 2 heroes targeted by that spell (remember the ulti was only still LEVEL 1!!) at the last level it could give 1840 dmg maximum!! OMG!! SUX!!!

to be honest, Lich is probably one of the easiest heros to play with. Just get ult and you will everybody's ass.
