There seems to be some changes with the Chaos Bolt..At lvl 4..the damage is ranged 1-200..not fixed at 200 anymore=(

his ulti looks kinda gay.. the higher the level, the more damage it takes, wtf? and also this... Level 4 - 5 second cooldown, deals 120 extra damage. Can now teleport to an ally. (Chaos Knight`s Blink Strike cannot be cast on an ally.) huh? can or can u not cast on an ally? cheap immitation of slithice

His ulti is ok i tink..cause if it doesnt take more damage..wouldnt it overpowered?His Blink Strike can be cast on ally.Someone just need to update this.

Nessaj does the most dmage

at lvl 14 he can do 73- 103 dmage

@lupeman chaos knight blink strike CAN teleport to an enemy, but where ur wrong is his ult owns heroes...bolt then use ult, atk and if they r not dead, chase and blink strike, Nessaj hes highest ms in dota.

he dont hav the highest ms in DotA and i know blink strike teleports to enemies, all blink strikes do. wtf r u talkn about? slithice, geomancer, azwraith, axe, abbadon, earthshaker, loads can beat this hero, his ulti is someone elses regular skill

Ok, lupeman, the ulti deals 100% damage. ITEMS INCLUDED. This means that if you have a divine rapier, the images deal the full damage (base damage+divine rapier damage) to the opponent. It would be TOO overpowered if they were to make them take 100% damage at level 3.

Blink strike on an ally will make Nessaj blink to an ally, but not do the attack animation.

Nessaj has a ms of 325. Fastest in dota without items or skills, thats 415 with Boots of Travel.

chaos knites chaos bolt should be less mana since its has low and random damage and random stun.

nessaj doesn't do the most damage,let's see tiny...

build boots of speed,after assault cuirass,after buriza-do kyanon,after 2 bashers and to finish heart of tarrasque or monkey king bar.

you can say raigor pwns any image hero... until the images get enough hp to live through the combo. After that its gg. fact of the matter is CK's ult is the king of all backdoor abilities. consider it like this, 4 images all doing 100% is basically quad damage. All you have to do is ult near a tower, send 3 images in and the tower is destroyed. Prioritize HP on this guy, the longer you and your images stay alive the better, 1 HOT is essentially quadrupled so 35*4 = +140 dmg essentially.

this guys wicked sick. with battlefury its like 5.4x the regular damage with his clones. his clones are the best in the game too.

@lupeman. this guy rapes naga 1v1. his clones are better, he has better a critical, plus a better chaseing skill. all naga can do is song and run, but if nessaj gets a linkens even that wont work.

This guy gets theoretically 100 damage from each reaver he buys. 25 per image = 100 total. At 3200 price, what would you rather have:

1 HoT: 965 HP + 35 dmg each (140 total)
OR
2 Reavers: 950 HP + 50 dmg each (200 total)

HoT is 5500, 2x Reavers is 6400.

Spam reavers/bracers on this dude :P This hero all about str, not damage items. His images do 100% damage but that does NOT include items with +dmg (eg buriza, mkb, stygian, etc).

Strength = High HP clones = High DMG clones = best.

Bfury does not work on clones, and he does not need massive hp/mana regen. bfury is a TERRIBLE item on this guy.

Granted its close to 32k gold to get those items, you'll have +145 str, and a bonus 900 hp... 5k HP clones that deal 300 dmg a hit (900 a crit). These are images we are talking about critting for 900.

Unfortunately his weakness is that once he ults, enemies usually just run away for 20 seconds then come back. This is why BoT is a must, don't let them escape (415 ms). Remember, treads don't give attack speed bonuses to images, so treads are a nono on image heroes! (Get agility items).

rain9441's suggestion is very nice and unusual. Yup massing str is gd for CK in pubs. In league it's not that easy for CK to save 15k cos he has to buy wards.

Actually for a fact his ulti is not meant for killing i think.. cause if you have axe as an enemy then your disguise is canceled.. i use his ulti for bringing down towers..

ow BTW our base is 2/3 destroyed and we still win with just me as a pusher and with nessaj.. even greater than sven with God's Strength for pushing

Pls note that his ulti follows the illusion rules. Damage items such as Divine Raiper will not work on illusion. Only stats item (i.e. str). However this guy has the highest dmg output. At lv6, considering u learn crit, stats, crit, stats, crit, phantasm--> u will deal 200% of ur dmg= 2X crit multiplier, plus u and your illusion have an 11% chance of doing 2.5X crit. So at ur owning time, u would get a dmg output of 4.5X crit per hit!

this hero owns like hell! I pawned motred like crap. I was dealing arnd 700dmg without divine. I use my ulti which makes 3 copies of myself. so 4 x 700 dmg is 2800 dmg. look at that. if all my illusions including me do at least one crit. Thats the dmg .

what items not includin rapier can boost ur damage to 700+? the most i ever got without doin that is 400.

all in all malakas si nessaj lalo na sa late game.. 2 tarassque lang ayos na!

Nessaj is my fav hero. I got 27 kills in 1 on 5 insane. Sweetness. 6 double kills. 2 tripple kills. Oh well. I tried my best .

I can buy four items dat plus 232 dmg. So plus my critical attack and buriz? Buriz doesn't stack with my critical attaack though. So that's why my normal dmg was 700 dmg . I think plus buriz was a lot higher. XD.

omg..battlefury is good for this hero. It helps to farm u know?! AND! Use ur ulti and backstab them so they can't run away. Haih, backstab is an important tecnique. His ulti is not a weakness. Its just you must know how to use it. BOT its not required as nessaj has quite a pleasant movement speed. Besides, he has blink strike. SO.... backstab ur opponent when you have done ur ulti, stun , whack ur opponent, blinkstrike. And why are you buying 3 hearts with linken?!!! No offense but it doesn't make sense at all buying 3 hearts!! its important to plus damage output. As he x3 the dmg.Strg heroes are not just all about adding strng. And your 'realistic' build, 3 reavers, 2 bracers one BOT? look, builds isn't just about the hero but also how to counter your opponent's attacks. People who follow builds like these are gonna get pawned in dota. Cause none of that items is gonna help you defend against opponent's attacks.

just to get this straight, phantasm images only do base damage and not item damage like normal images, right? otherwise, if they had items as well, it would be too crazy, battlefury, desolator, divine, radiance immolation... anyway. I'm thinking assault cuirass is a good late game item for his phantasm, and maybe vlads. if ck has a Satanic, and you activate it, and then phantasm, do his images get the +15 str bonus?

1. Damage items like devine do work, if you use his ulti and lick on the image they have a copy of all the items in their inventory plus you can see it says +250 to their damage 2. This is THE best pushing character, I have pushed towers at with level 1 ulti with this character, if you are smart it's no problem 3. spamming damage and str items is OK strat but.. if you get say 2 reavers or a HoT and hyperstone or mask of madness... blink, ulti, stun, madness and it's all over no questions asked. ALSO BoT IS ESSENTIAL!

dude, countering is for bad... if you have BoT and you aren't stupid you can just stun and run... plus if you use a good build with lots of damage/str you will be the one making all the attacks.

also to clarify, images dont gain critical. when there is red numbers above it, it just deals regular damage.

images DO critical strikes when there are red numbers over thier heads

the number even shows the FULL damage (because nessaj's illus deal the same damage as the original)

Don't waste money on manta for CK, hes got 100% damage images, manta sux compared to that. Get HP so your images last a long time, and damage so they deal more damage!

Should have BoT, reaver, reaver, bracer, bracer, bracer at this point... Thats 4 nessaj's with images who crit for 600!

I checked out a few weird ideas for builds I had and these were the most efficient ones.

Depends what your plying style is really, just remember to play to his strengths with lots of health for his images and/or stuns and crits to inflict maximum pain

why buriza? its just a waste of money.
If u have crit in ur character, don't put him more crit, change it for attack speed or stuns, or lifesteal etc.

True you already have crits but it just gives more of a chance to get one of them to go off as his is only 11% chance, it's the same as why you would buy two bashers instead of just one. Think of it like this, your images get the crit chance from buriza as well as the passive so it not only gives you a 31% chance to get a crit off but there's four of you, so almost constant crits. Even thought they are only 2.2 or 3x there isn't much that can stand up to that.

Your images get the crit from buriza but they don't get the damage. You already have a buriza-quality crit so why get another?

Regardless, your best bet is to get +STR items as your images benefit fully from +str items.

Anyone who gets strait up +dmg items (bfury, mkb, buriza, wtf basher?) and not a +stat item on nessaj is just total noob.

nESSAJ CAN hAVE Battle and Satanic

This hero has one of the most devastating starting damage in the DotA roster. He is also the fastest hero. Starting with 325 movespeed gives you an edge at killing and escaping enemies.

rain9441 I just explained why you get Buriza in the previous post, you get more so you do more damage more often. So take this for example, you get 2 Reavers and get 50 damage and 950 health for 6400 gold, or you get a Buriza for 6200 gold and get 75 damage and give yourself a 31% chance to double or better your total damage. See you're missing the whole point of Nessaj, sure you can build him like a tank but then if you want a str tank why not get Pudge? or if you want a tank that can kill awesomely why not get Axe? The whole point of Nessaj is to go from lane to lane the entire game killing every hero one after the other to make it really easy for your team-mates to push, and besides who needs to tank when there are four of you each with a 31% chance to get a critical strike, thats a 93% that they will have taken a crit after they've all attacked, not to mention he does a lot of damage already.

You won't get the maim fro the S&Y, because Lifesteal overrides every other orb effect in the game; it's not that bad actually because you still get the STR and AGI bonus as well as the AS and MS increase

I think this is the best among all of the heroes that have critz.. imagine at lvl 8 or 7 u have a 3x crit ..

the best build i can offer is this... first item is 2 bracers 1 PT then HoD then just farm. kill heroes avoid gangbangs and then build RAPIER.. at lvl 13-15 u can have ur rapier.. it depnds on how u control ur Hero. but in my case i use nessaj as my ultimate hero. just use the this strategy DIVINE RAPIER IS THE KEY!!

again and again .... tarasque is not important ... the most important thing is the damage.. be realistic ^^ nessaj is already str type u dont nid thos HoT u Nid is Get the Item That deals with Damge.. like RApier.. if u have 2 rapiers? the crit is almost 2,280. something.. remember that critz ignore Hp..and armors..another thing is u have A stun that has 4 sec.. and a blink with 5sec cooldown ... dont be gay .. just buy a supporting item to your divine.. a dagger of escape.!!! and phew..

U seem to forget that u cant go all offensive. Dota is about balance. With divines you have insane damage undoubtedly but you wouldnt survive a gank if you were by urself. Hot is not a stupid idea 4 CK he's very hard to kill with one. Think over your strat man.

the key to nessaj is that he's a chaser so get him ms and atk speed for criticals, his ulti is amazing! they do full damage and crits so utilize this get strength boosting items so that your illusions can survive since they take 300% damage and str. increases their atk unlike mkb illusions don't benifit from so SnY, treads, and mass HoT or reavers wouldn't be a bad idea so play his skills and items to your advantage. and blink strike is cheap and effective for chasing/killing/escaping USE IT!

S&Y is the best orb effect for CK. You are the noob EricGonzaga. CK's images get IAS not only from S&Y's stat gain but also from the seperate IAS gain (I've proven this in 6.51). Images however cannot maim.

2. Null Talisman (Chaos Knight doesn't have enough base mana to continually use Blink Strike and Chaos Bolt imo)

No point in buying Buriza, as Chaos Knight has a crit ability by himself tbh.

People always wants to buy S&Y, a little bit of this, a little bit of that..maybe they always tend to walk away from battle and do creeping instead..

CK is one of thoes heroes that it would be better to buy STR items (reaver, etc) than pure damage items alone (demonedge,etc). Added hp on illusions makes for long staying power.

BF First, for farming mid game, works well with crit. Then by lvl 13-16, when u have Manta, opponents kinda walk away form battles. With HoT, ownage already, the game should be over by now (if u have teammates who really know how to play). If game stay too long, AC would definitely help.

BF+Manta+Hot+AC on CK truly rocks! S&Y for CK is so noob, for those afraid of team battles.

battle fury is a gud, item for him because he needs to recover mana for him to use blink and chaos bolt, also is SNY because it will make hi the olympic torch bearer(if you know what i mean) i should know because hes my fave hero

Okay, I'm back, man it's been a while. To the poeple that are accusing SnY of being "noob" on CK, you're wrong. To put it simply it complements his abilities perfectly, you get extra ms to chase people with, extra attack speed to to deal more damage, maim complementing your ms as well, not to mention the strength you get from it. Also if you get another yasha you get more move and attack speed procing more maims and crits making them awesome choices.

I bought the divine early game and my images werent doing the same damage that i did, its like they werent carrying a divine rapier.. is this nerfed?
