Whats a good item build for bristleback?

Vanguard,HoT first then BKB and MKBs. Rigwarl is one the best. Hey faceless, do you agree on this?

Ya, but probably get either SnY for maim or Desolator with nasal goo sounds good. And probably bashers because this guy is a chaser.

I prefer BKB on this hero bcoz a lot of skills such as poison and purge negates her warpath. 10 seconds without negation of warpath will be an easy kill for this nasty pig. I also prefer bashers and S&Y for this hero, coz of his insane attack speedbcoz of warpath.

Erm, BoT, Vladmir's, Dr Aegis and twin HoT. You will have 4k+ health and will be able to kill Roshan yourself by just spammin Nasal Goo on him.

Wat does warpath do?

increases attack and movement speed. in other words, anotha version of nightstalker during the day

increase attack and movement speed, i dont understand how u can stack it 4 times though cos it only lasts 10 seconds and the cooldown is 10 seconds

warpath doesn't have a cooldown its passive it can stack 4 times when you use skills fast enough b4 the 10 second effect of warpath ends.

This hero is setup to do most of the chasing, so to make it simple use items that give that ability to run someone down. I would build like this

Boots of Travel(max speed)

HoT(for tanking of course)

Radiance(everything turns to gold now)

Eye of Skadi(multiple purposes, more mana for casting snot(so you can can stack warpath). Damage, and of course frost orb.)

Blink Dagger(good for escaping or chasing the really fast heros)

6th item, well that means the game would have to be really long, I never usually get a 6th item, so with those 5 you should be able to attack, chase, run down, and get away fast if needed too.

Quill Spray isn't 12 sec cooldown , its almost 3 sec . 12 sec was from old versions.

i like to get a mana ring at start to spam quill spray

that goo is annoying, he basically can solo anyone at lvl 16 cos of warpath.

Was going to make Hyperstone->Assault Cuirass but game was over too quickly. Quill Spray spam is amazing especially if you can also spam Nasal Goo and just chase the enemy. Also I got the Arcane Ring because I also had Omniknight on my team and it was really useful for both of us for most of the game.

this hero is a pure tanker, his armour is like so high

imba meaning imbalanced

that goo makes any hero who challenges rigwarl die instantly, they cant flee or cast spells fast enough. at lvl 6, u should be able to kill multiple enemies at once

here's my item build for bristleback when I play him with my friends... usually results to ownage

- 2xBracers / Bascillus+VoidStone (if opponent is melee and does not harass well)
- stout shield
- power treads
- DESOLATOR (main item)
- vladimir's

reason for not getting regen items much is because I usually rush hardening this hero with a stout shield and heal behind ranks when hp goes half (you can last-hit with quill while healing with flask)

once he gets his deso, it's ownage time, just anticipate when the oponent will strike, face backwards then hit him for the orb effect... it's basically his doom after that since you'll be chasing him with quill and your attack as he cowers back to base. :) Sounds a little noob for you pros though, but it works very well on our games :)

he doesnt gain enough intelligence until lvl 9 when he can start spammin his skills for his ulti and for the kill, either that or my management of mana is crap. i always run out of mana to spam goo when ive almost killed someone

Really all you need is a bracers, basher, treads and a battlefury, Rigwarl skills will take care of the rest. Maybe satanic too.

Start by 2 x Bracers,Power Treads,RoR
Get Perseverance ASAP
Switch to Battlefury get arcane ring.
Start supporting ur allies by quill -spraying creeps and Snoot on enemy and arcane flush regularly.Get HoT,SnY,Basher,
owertreds,Battlefury,
Satanic.Really
makes great Rigwari P.S: Use nasal goo near towers and also for following low hp enemy and while following quillpray quickly to get spd boost.(SnY+War- path x Nasal Goo)
x Basher+Satanic==>Fast killer
Beastmaster also great ally

This hero reeks.. even with range hero.. just try to get a perseverance and the second skill.. bye bye range guys..

i know it's good to have warpath and goo stacked up but not if it costs you the kill because they run too fast

guys he doesnt need damage item he deals enough already. btw SnY is crap on this guy, he already has a slow, and he can farm fast so there is no problem getting better items. its better to go super defensive, and then get radiance at the end.

by build: 2 bracers, vanguard, heart, BoT, Radiance. you can replace a bracer with BKB or HoD or other things later. i almost never die with this build, and still get atleast 3-4 kills.

i bought battle fury for him and i was g0dlike. His voice is annoying. Damn grunts drove me crazy.. :s

i dont like this hero that much... i only like the fact hes hard to be killed if hes on low health because of damage reduction, goo, bristleback and warpath, but i never seem to get many kills with this hero, unless im going for the gank.
the strategy up there continues makin me think hes gay.

any hero that manaburns, can deal critical and heavy nukers can kill this hero far too easily, only some tank heroes hav difficulty with him.

more of a last hit hero than tank.

Mostimportant thing for this char is life steal, sobe sure to get a Helm of the dominator in the early game to turn it into Satanic later.Cuz when ur ulti staks and u hit 3 times per second - u heal for like 100hp second. - unkillable!

This hero is a clash game hero,
what i mean is people value this hero in clashes or kpag all mid na.
because when he gets hood of defiance radiance 1 hot he will just show your back and watch you being killed by his teammates or if you ignore this pig he will kill the hell out of your spellcasters or support heroes.

I raped some noobs as soon as i got BoT, Arcane and Mask of Madness. On top of that you can get HoT, Radiance, Bashers, and late game sell the arcane. Assault Cuirass is also good if you get the money.

If played well.This hero rocks!!!

What does it mean by stack up for 4 times?

I have never been killed with bristle, EVER lolz

My choice of build:

Satanic - life steal, armor, life, dmg

Cuirass - reduce enemy's armor, armor, ias

Sange & Yasha - life, dmg, armor, ias, ms

Power Treads - ms, ias

Desolator - dmg, reduce armor

Buriza - dmg and chance for more dmg

No boots of travel as with nasal goo, they can barely move anymore. Sange & yasha, not for the orb effect, but for everything else. Desolator and Cuirass is so good with his nasal. All the armor for tanking. Satanic, buriza, desolator for high dmg. GG.

By the way lupeman, just because you are not good with a hero doesn't make that hero weak or bad. Rigwarl is one of the best heroes imo.

its not that im bad at this hero, hes good, but if u hav an ally on ur team, hes probably goin to nuke him last second just to get the kill (70-80% of dota players do that)

its just bristleback needs to farm 2 good items to kill heroes like razor and viper cos they hav mad DPS and attack faster than rigwarl.

and i think i said this b4, but hes like a mini ns and anyone whos played with me online knows i hate playin easy to use heroes.

try playin bristleback in non-em. cant FARM WELL!!!

Thats the way gr8 players build him. Also, focus on turning ur back and not on hitting them. Spray+ radiance is lot of AoE damage. Deso, SnY Satanic are all noob and nono items on BB. Although AC can b good if its prolonged game. And he is IMBA in team games.....ALWAYS

Did you know that , when you cast a spell around an ally hero , he will gain warpath too ? if you play 5v5 and all 4 ally heroes are very close to you , when you cast spells , they all GET WARPATH ! this is so IMBA ! or it's a bug ? someone help pls

This hero is a usefull hero in late game...Warpath is usefull when farming bristleback is usefull in hero killing qiulspray is usefull u are slowed and chasing enemy when life is down 70hp

I used it again in st3adfast...His realy unstoppable!!!...Using only Bracer,boots,heart,basher and reaver...

I realy love this hero...When I will bash my enemy i goo them so i can activate warpath...First bleed!!!! I think,hes 2nd skill is not very usefull anymore..I first get his bristleback and his goo... bcoz his goo will lessen the armor of enemies....

I think deso will not upgrade him...The important build of that hero is defence items like vanguard,hood or cuirras...Becoz for his bristleback...Vanguard is god partner with bristleback..It lessen the damage that he recives...Basher is good for this hero HoT or Satanic...Ultra lifesteal with warpath...OWNING!!!!

MoM + 2 Basher = Permabash FTW!!!
