Atropos - The Bane Elemental

two things about this hero ive noticed:
1. greatest ever counter for tiny the stone giant( meaning curse - it goes to "-200 damage")
and 2. his fiends grip is great when used in combo with epicenter! simply fantastic!

Heard from people they say Bane's too strong, I disagree.He's only average.Oh yeah, Dagon & Necronomicon kick _(you know the word)

good post. nice one. do you know that Atropos name is Suporta read backwards. meaning support. he is the best support her ever. enfeedble and nightmare rulz. if you want to kill. Sap them 2x then fiends grip. make sure that you have a lot of mana. guinsoo is good for mana and damage

I haven't played Bane much, but my friend does and this pwns. Enfeeble one, Nightmare one, Guinsoo one, Necro one, Fiends Grip one. Disable the whole team at once. Its too good. But yes, he is hard to play, and plenty of guys can pwn him.

Post Ghost's guide goddamn it. Its good. And theres only one here anyway. Aaannd, its a wee bit - please don't make me say it - its not that great. Fine, it has no Necro therefore it sucks.

could u nightmare, run behind ur enemy, onces hes awake, fiend grip, should he fight u, enfeeble then brainsap if health needed or wanted, then cast nightmare again?

hmmm... boots of travel, guinsoo, dagon5,mekanism,soul booster or arcane ring...

Ive used him alot lately and found that hes awesome!
Basilus, Arcane, Necronomicon, Radiance, Dagger of escape, and whatever else u want is good arcane gives u xtra 110 mana free w/ 33 sec cooldown and also helps regenerate mana w/ basilus Necronomicon is a must it also gives u units to help take out enemy heros Radiance is good when u use Nightmare and fiends grip thy take more damage u can easily kill heros (w/ radiance helpiing) by using brain sap+nightmare+necro summon+Fiends grip+brain sap+minions manaburn if they are still alive (use arcane any time u need mana and use blink dagger right after fiends grip / brain sap) ur immobile and take damage automatically w/ fiends grip so blink out right after grip ends if enemys are around and have ur minions finish him off tho he should be dead by then.
bane is awesome 1v1 hero mekanasm is not worth it so find a build tht works for u good items always are necronmicon & radiance

sorry for long post without any , or . its hard to follow, well any way in my opinion with nightmare, enfeble, and brain sap, magina wont stand a chance. 1 last component to the build would be a refresher orb w/energy/soulbooster works nicely and helps alot since brain sap has a 30 second cooldown which is decent but the combo goes to quickly for it. and the boosters provide the necessary mana for this, fiends grip has a great cooldown and can be used to complement other ultis and aoe skills.

My enemies are using the hood of defiance as a protection to my Fiend's Grip. Is there an item to increase the damage of the Fiend's Grip ???

This hero is cool when you use the combo I made plus a refresher orb to repeat the combo again.

How do you use this guy!

if ur enemy is fightin roshan, cast enfeeble then nightmare on ur enemy when he is below 2/3 health. roshan is magic resistant and wont get affected, once he comes out of that slumber, fiend grip. Roshan will keep attackn him doin damage then nightmare again. make sure u brainsap him once he reaches below 300 hp so roshan wont get ur kill.

I justt ried it right now on single-player custom game. Radiance doesn't work with Nightmare, but it does work with fiend's grip.

works very well with rhasta, sand king and sven.

one major downside is the extremely long cooldown on brainsap.

i used radiance today with this hero, works very effectively with fiend grip. of course. if this guys ur enemy, get BKB once he hits lvl 16, fiend grip hurts lots. it feels much longer than 5 seconds. i dont understand why people get refresher for his ulti, cos by then, ur mana would hav been majorly drained from the first time.

one of my number 1 heroes....hehehe

1st skill:
harasses enemy heroes early to mid game and cripples them both offensively and defensively

2nd skill:
great skill for a combo...this skill can save ur life too... 300 heal!! man tha'ts cool

3rd skill:
great for a hero kill combo... good for chasing/escaping

4rth:
man it hurts!! it also allows ur allies to gank the gripped enemy.

overall: onne wicked sick awesome hero!!!

HOw does Fiend's Grip functions and how to use it?^^

Just holds your enemy and deals 215 damage per second. It also hurts you as well dealing 80 damage and using 80 mana per second, which is why it is suggested that you use brain sap b4 usin ulti or else u might suicide by accident

Radiance breaks Nightmare. I found out the hard way. Never get Radiance, and tell your allies to either not get it or to stay away from your victims.

Atropos and sand king will be great partners. Atropos ulti can deal up to 1250 i tink and plus the brain sap +300 so equals to 1550 x 2 dmg if you refresh.My build is....

nightmare is the best disable and escape skill in the game if u have low hp and u run and ur creeps up ahead are about to block u turn around nightmare the enemy and us a tp scroll since it takes about 4-5 secs and nightmare disables for 7 secs.

Many noob players tell that bane elemental is an ugly hero but the truth is he's really awesome to use.

BANE ELEMENTAL CAN

*GET HEALTH FROM ENEMIES USING BRAIN SAP
*MAKE THE ENEMY SLEEP USING NIGHTMARE WITH A LITTLE DAMAGE
*STOP CHANNELING SPELLS USING NIGHTMARE
*STOP ESCAPING HERO FROM RUNNING USING NIGHTMARE OR FIENDS GRIP
*ESCAPE FROM ENEMY HEROES THAT WANT TO KILL YOU OR YOUR FRIENDLY HEROES USING NIGHTMARE

to regenerate MANA!! here's the technique USE BRAIN SAP to your enemy HERO everytime your HEALTH becomes LOW then USE ARCANE RING to regenerate your MANA. when you have Arcane Ring you don't need to go back to town to regen for health and mana just use BRAIN SAP the f**kin enemy hero then ARCANE RING isnt it cool its like converting your mana to health while damaging enemy heroes too WUHAHAHAHA. JUST SPAM ARCANE RING IF YOUR MANA'S LOW.

DAGGER OF ESCAPE - if you want to escape just blink using DAGGER or use DAGGER to GET ESCAPING HERO or Blink to low health enemy hero then instantly use FIENDS GRIP then after the fiends grip finishes USE BRAIN SAP TO FINISH HIM!.

DAGON - To kill high health HEROES
Technique is FIENDS GRIP then BRAIN SAP then DAGON or DAGON then FIENDS GRIP then BRAIN SAP it depends on the situation. when using fiends grip MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOTS OF LIFE AND MANA!!! Upgrade it to the highest.

Then ANY ITEMS that suites your pleasure LIKE GUINSOO AND LINKEN just buy the ITEMS ABOVE FIRST.

STAT MANAGEMENT

BRAIN SAP
NIGHTMARE
BRAIN SAP
NIGHTMARE repeat this until you can add
FIENDS GRIP then the last ENFEEBLE

SKILL COMBO

Damage the enemy hero as MUCH as you CAN
using normal attack and ENFEEBLE.
then use FIENDS GRIP when the FIENDS GRIP FINISHES USE BRAIN SAP
ITS LIKE USING TWO SKILLS LOL but can be followed by DAGON if you have.
(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOTS OF MANA AND HEALTH AND DONT MOVE WHILE USING FIENDS GRIP THIS IS A CHANNELING SPELL)


OVERVIEW
Bane Elemental can kill heroes like crazy but weak in pushing. Look for enemy heroes with low health then use the combo fiends grip first then brain sap.

Don't get dagon, get necromonicon... The little bastards deal ALOT more damage than a dagon in the 5 second grip span. They also burn a ton of mana so theres a good chance those blinkers or wind walkers won't even have enough mana to use their abilities (or nukers to try and kill you)

She is a great 1on1 hero but an even better 2on2 hero... Think Bane + Rexxar. Nightmare one, grip the other. Your necros + Rexxar beating on the gripped hero will probably kill it. After nightmare ends on the other hero have rexxar ult (4 second stun), more necro action + rex + you beating on him. If the nightmared hero isn't dead you have the slow from rexxar's boar, your brain sap, and your little necros still beatin on em... they won't get away. Extra fun if both Bane and Rexxar have necromonicon =]

Don't beleive me? Farm a necrobook 3 with bane, grip a hero and watch the necros attack, you'd be amazed the amount of damage those little bastards deal. Necrobook 3 is only 5350, dagon 3 is 5700. In 5 seconds you have to deal 600 damage with necros to match the dagon, well... They do that easy and then some, just make sure you use their mana burn active and its cake.

Hmmmm i never thought of Manta.
Early game the necro's will do much more damage than images though.
You'd miss the bonuses of: Truesight, Mana burn, the Aura thingy and the Last wish or something thingy.
On the bright side it'd be much more versatile.

Saying that i never liked necro i find that if you have adequete allies there's really no need.

I saved my friend i million times with BANE.

I casted NIGHTMARE my friend and then ran!!(my enemy still has NIGHTMARES think about it.)

The AI always picks this hero first for some reason...maybe a testament to his effectiveness??

Great Strat, but in my opinion, only get 1 point on nightmare since 4 secs are enough to escape and gank. In addition, you should get Dagon then blink dagger. Not haveing to max nightmare lets you max out ur stats, which greatly boost your hp, mp and make you the strongest hero in the game. After getting dagger, max out dagon or get sheepstick if you want to. Finally, Enfeeble is important mid and late game, so i recommend getting it at lvl 15 17 18 19.

i just like to ask ques...does nightmare can be cancelled with radiance???coz i play 1 0n 1 with pandaren,every time i cast nightmare,it cancelled ryt away..on d other hand,its level 4 already....

I prefer to play this hero as a purely support character because he is one of the best disablers. This was the order.
1) Guinsoo
2) Boots of Travel
3) Shiva's Guard
4) Linken's Sphere
5) Orchid of Malevolence
6) Heart**

I see that most people say get Refresher's but with the support play style that I play, I quickly become everyone's target so standing still for even 5 seconds is a risk. The HP was very necessary.

I owned everyone with this guy today. i used Guinsoo's then i hit 2xs. Then i used Fiend's grip. After i used nightmare and waited 7seconds. If he fights back, i use Enfeeble then i kill. after i killed magina, akasha came and i got double kill with refresher orb. PWNAGE CHARACTER

imo, this is the best 2v2 hero there can be : p

nice ideas, eventho I keep dagon a much more important than necro~. I also start my combo with nightmare, then grip sap and dagon. You should have dagon at least at lvl 11 and with level 2 grip you can pwn almost anyone.
