For newbies, repick if Weaver is chosen.MAN! using weaver takes a whole lot of practice from his skills.Is HoT, BKB, Radiace good?I want a word with the Weaver master.Weaver's my fave AGI hero no doubt about it.

windwalk sorta imba especially if your melee fighting against him, when you goto attack he ww runs through you a coupple times so you run back or somewhere to get outta the way he attacks from behind and every time you goto attack he ww and runs through you, i tell you its annoying but it would probably be better if he didnt have that 522 movspeed in his ww

buy 1 dagon for this hero could be useful. His last skill could refresh dagon???

shukuchi is very good for spammin while fleein or chasin, u cannot die with this hero, but shes not really an offensive hero and its nearly impossible for me to win with him. radiance is useful for his shukuchi skill, even if u do lose ur invisibility. i love runnin through giant fights and when im on the verge of dyin, ulti to recover and more shukuchi, then flee afta a bit. more of a harrassin than slayer. get ur watchers to patrol the rivers, centuars and secret shops

My first fave hero, no doubt about it i love this spider! Not a good newbie hero but if you become a 'master weaver' better watch out lol, Shukuchi rocks for harrassing early on or getting last hits on creeps, people say its so ultima but you can just get wards/gem and hit like twice to kill

This is an advanced hero. Hard to use, but can be incredibly effective. With Shukuchi (whatever that means) and max Germinate, you become the ultimate chaser. Then get radiance...game over.

First buy MKB then Radiance

Cheapest hero in the game. So imba. Max speed wind walk with fast cd and 90 dmg when you pass through units and a timewarp? How does a spider even have timewarp!?

THATS IT... if you have those, you probably have already won the game... hes prettyhard to kill even with a caster, since he can always ulti and run. Plus with the skadi and heart, he has about 3.2k life, thus making him a super tank capable of combining his ulti and gaining about 4-6k life. Also does extreme amounts of dmg with the mkb buriz skadi and butterfly.

dagon... man.. thats the ugliest nerub build ever. Jesus... BKB?.. wow.... please do not suggest crappy builds until you have tested them and it is decent.

1st of all this here needs a little more stamina/hp regeneration to lvl up him asap. so early game boots/bracer/ring.
If u get daggon at 10 lvl u will gank like crazy and take money to make butterfly faster. think about it and practice more with him. (also use a vanguard if game doesnt go well at low lvls).

@Greedygood - i'm no japanese to know what it really means, but i think it was derived from a technique by "the tenken"(one of kenshins enemy) in the anime samurai x, where in the tenken move at incredible speed and is almost impossible to see and whack his enemies with his sword.

u dont need BoT if u hav Shukaki. u might want the dagon for a slightly increased intel (higher mana pool/regen). id personally get these items, PT, Radiance, Dagon, Refresher, MKB and Buriza. the refresher is only there to make u survive in a big ass fight so u can spam ur ulti

Eye of skadi and SnY. They both r orb effect and besides y does he need orb effect items, it only cancels his germinate attack which is very useful. SnY is not a single use other tan eye of skadi which atleast slows the enemy. SnY is especially not recomended cause shucuchi it lasts 4 seconds it has 7 sec cooldown which is only 3 seconds difference. and he walks at full speed almost 57% of the time whats the use of 10% more movement speed.

Oh, wow, you guys... Dagon on Weaver? What a waste of money. So is stupid Vanguard. Look - this hero has horrible base stats and damage and his stat growth is minimal. Which means Buriza, which bases its critical off of stats and base damage, is not put to good use. Radiance is a must for great farming ability as well as damage while harassing. And for lupeman - omg you have no idea what you are talking about. The weaver is all about killing heroes. Why do you think he has that ult?

Correct me if im wrong but isnt eye of skadi melee non orb effect and eye of skadi range orb effect!!
besides eye of skadi for range, that would be really a pain passing past them but it wouldnt really matter about melee u don even hav to walk to them. So it should be the melee heroes whose eos skadi should be non orb effect for buying sny or other orb effect run speed items

besides mask of madness(MoM) is orb effect and eye of skadi(EoS) is orb effect. my friend tried buying both but both didnt stack. MoM had an attack like akasha's ulti and EoS had an freezing attack. Which means range EoS should be orb effect. Try playing rich mode buy EoS and MoM then say then post comment about agreeing or disagreeing with me pls(Dont juz read the item EoS here and say cause i dont beleive it, i beleive the opposite way )

EoS ranged is not an orb effect...it is only an attack modifier....

The main thing on this char is 2 get a buriza..... fast attack = more crits,
and y in the world would u get a refresher or BKB

Radiance is useless, you lose invis which is your main saving grace. Best build for weaver is (in this order)

Treads, Wraith, Wraith, Wraith, Butterfly, MkB, sell wraith and get buriza, sell another wraith and get heart, sell last wraith and get cuirass.

Anyone who says he's not offensive doesn't use him right.. chasing people down is easy on this hero, especially if you sell treads late game and get BoT. In fact, just finished a game and went 16-2 with him.

u dont lose invis with radiance in the newer maps. it will just annoy people knowin that someones invis but usin radiance.

not a great fan of the watchers. basically sentry wards that dont disappear and can patrol. Shukuchi FTW! its impossible to flee from this hero unless u can tele or also hav 522 ms. if not, u might as well stay and fight, but weavers still goin to use shukichi though, does damage circlin the enemy without takin any hits

That makes Weaver here a MALE spider beastie. Now then, this is one of my favorite heroes. the best build for hs is VERY simple.

Treads, Buriza, MKB, Bfly, guinsoos, and Cuirass

Why anyone would get heart is beyond me. I mean, come on. He isn't meant to be a tank. THAT'S WHY HE HAS SHUKUCHI!!
That skill will be used for escaping more then for offense. You also need Buriza for him. Germinate attack can and will activate a Critical hit. With this exact build I went 11-0 in a 50 minute game. The noobs got tired of being PWND and left. Now then... TO THE BARD CAVE!!

Oh, and read the text written in the game for him if you wanna understand the whole Time Lapse thing.

Geminate Attack seems pointless at late game... 4 second cooldown seems too long, by lvl 25, weaver will hav shot 6 shots by the time geminate cooled down

yea, i kind of agree. but if you didn't want germinate, i guess you wouldn't put the points into it. heh, 4 points just kicking around... and btw, this hero doesn't work well w/ both germinate and skadi. i tried it out last night. only the second shot of germinate becomes of the 'freezing' kind (from skadi). oh, and all shots at buildings are 'freezing' -- germinate doesn't affect buildings, so skadi is triggered instead. gotta slow those buildings down 'cause they sure move at blinding speeds. if one did not use germinate, one could then get skadi -- just can't have both.

he is weak against strenght and good to int. What is use of watcher? I think the creator of dota change the skill. More powerfull skill.

geminate is orb effect though, u shouldnt be able to use EoS anyway (yes, i know EoS is a buff when ranged, but some orbs still dont work EoS)

yea, germinate is an orb effect. usually EoS stacks w/ orbs (if ranged), unless they are buffs (ie. styg des). wouldn't think germ was a buff... but i guess it is. i take back germinate being not so useful. it is pretty sweet. at lvl 4, it's every 3.5 seconds, not 4. in late game, everyone has a lot of hp, so you'll be fighting for way over 3.5 seconds. germinate is also useful for finishing heros as well.

If only time lapse refresh dagon. He'll like pawn everyone. Still I fell like weaver's imba. I think skadi wont work cuz his gemini attack doesnt stack(i think). Shikuchi damage is getting usless in late games. Time lapse suck when not in full HP. Any tips that weaver already balance? Im like a weaver noob.

Do you know guys that butterfly cancels the geminate attack? I just observed it yesterday. Anyway, butterfly gives you fast attack speed thus so it's fine without the geminate attack. I love weaver! When I random pick this hero, it's like a way win for me. Weaver can easily pawn first blood and I always do. Haven't tried skadi, i will try it and observe if it cancels geminate as well.

i took down a lvl 25 kardel who had 2 hypers, 1 MoM and 1 butterfly when i was lvl 22 >.>

time lapse is such a great ulti, lina used her spell combo on me and i time lapsed and i had back to full health again

even if they can see him, shukuchi and time lapse will prevent him from dyin for a long time.

most amazing harrasser EVER! just run up geminate, shukuchi behind the enemy hit hit hit! thats like at least 6 hits + shukuchi = gg enemy. def 1 of my fav heros.

eye of skadi does work for this hero. its only the geminate attack that gains the cold attack.

I think my friend tried it and he says that only the first attack has slow then it becomes normal ,even thou its not an orb effect 4 ranged hero but maybe some 1 can check and let us know. : )

I tried it but I'm a little confused ,I fought roshan and he was always slowed but when i attacked normal creeps it would be random ,sometimes they would be slowed and sometimes their were not,can someone help me figure this out ,maybe I did something wrong(if anything its a bug). thnx

lets see if i can expalin this...weavers first attack the one that goes right before the second attack skill will not have skadi because that is an orb however the second atack will have the frost ability. also while the second attack ability is on cool down all ur attacks will have frost.Another thing i noticed is that his passive skill will not activate if weaver auto acquires a target, you have to manually tell weaver to attack the unit in order for the skill to activate this makes last hitting/harrasing a lot easier

I love this little guy...spider...ant!? If you are looking for a hero to solo against sum1 like luna/crixalis/crystal maiden and even sven, this is the dude for the job! Respect to the underdog that is starting to own on servers world wide!!

There r so many coments that im aint readin them all. But so far i had read so many strange items build for nerubian... he is not good at farmin thats why i focus on hero kill this is what i recomend to get. BoT, 2x Crystallis, Hyperstone. If you can get that your ok... why 2xcrystallis well to increase your chance of criticalm. Weaver is definetly a deadly hero... if u know how 2 play him

Butterfly and 2x Buriza is all you need to own. When you use geminate on a crit both hits are critical, makes for some serious dmg.

Lvl 1=90 dmg
Lvl 2=100 dmg
Lvl 3=110 dmg
Lvl 4=120 dmg

hiya all. to set the record straight weaver can be usd in may different ways... so dont be quick to rule ouit guides.. people have different ways to use him/her which work for htem... but the main this about this assassin is to spam the "Shukuchi"

this is a great pk build and will ensure u get lots of kills but still get away from ganks...

You sir, are a bonafied RETARD. You say that geminate is useless late game, when its at its full potential. Geminate is basicly a free enchant totem with no cast time every 4 seconds. Doubles your attack damage and at the speed your shooting, its generally a triple shot. Geminate is by far IMBA over all, the ability to use a double damage skill for free alone is great, but it costs no mana and has the lowest recharge compared to all other hero attack buffs such as gods strength and enchant totem.

lol, you can solo for levels but farm with another hero to actually properly farm lol. Take all creep kills. Farm for TREADS, then RADIANCE, thenn gg from then BURIZA! maybe BUTTERFLY or another BURIZA.

OK 1st of all- The weaver is MALE NOT FEMALE
2nd- Skadi does work with geminate, but it only triggers on the geminate 2nd attack
3rd- Feedback also works with geminate, like skadi triggering only on the 2nd attack, although diff blade or manta are still shitty items for him
4th- Wraith bands are better than bracers, because they're cheaper, and you shouldnt need large amounts of extra Hp to survive with Anub'Seran
5th- watchers can be very effective, when patrolled in the correct way around the map
6th- there are many unique and powerful builds for the weaver- You should generally use a pure dmg item (Radiance, Mkb, Butterfly) and treads to start with
7th- multiple Mkbs on a hero give a diminishive stack ( the increase gets smaller for every copy of the item)
8th- you can have items with orb effects like Sange(and Yasha) and still have the geminate as the dominant orb by learning it AFTER you have purchased said item

omg noob y would u get a orb effect item it wouldn stack. This hero is hard to use for noob since u need to be fast on ur finger movement... cause the ult can be a help 4u or a death line since u have to predict when to use.

early game:
-bracer
-and ancient tango
in this early game u should head out any lane... and harash not to much since u can die easy at this time.

at lvl 6-more just try not to die... u go bak and get boots, and glove and if u have anyspare money get wraith band.
Done now head out and earn ur self more money help ur team mate and GG

and after a while finish ur item by getting
-boots of elvenkin
- upgrade to tread
-and try to get another wraith band for now.
Now u got 4 item 2slot left for now. or maybe 1 slot left if u didn use ancient.

-Radience~ important cause u need to farm fast and kill creep and noob hero.
-Vanguard~ i know it sound noob but block 35dmg every few second can save ur ass alot
now ur hero should be finish soon.

Late gaming:
sell your bracet since u might need space for item.
-hyperstone~ wat..u might ask. well this hero need atk speed for quick kill the faster the atk the crazier ur but leave it wit only one hyperstone ok.
-MKB~now Mkb would be easy for u to get as long ur not a noob and get money quick with radience. with ur skill Gemine atk plus Hyperstone and radience u got a 0.1second stunner fast atk hero. this will piss people off since they stop and move stop and move.

good way of vsing meele is atk them so fast that they slow down abit as soon as they close to you use skunchi walk pass them the opposite and atk and when they turn around and try to atk u skunchi again they will be so piss.
and thats a good skill to use in one on one

for the ganking u might need help from friend cause skunchi wont stand a change vsing 3 or more high dmg hero. DOUBLE KILL can be obtain!!!

and get a Buriza

Do you guys think a good Early game set up for the Weaver is

-3x Wraith Bands
-Blades of Attack
-Broadsword

That way you can have about +33 damage and some good beginning stats. Your also on your way to getting a Crystalis and then of coarse a Buriza. What do you think?

i think the main item 4 weaver is buriza

the weaver's geminate attack is become very strong skill if combinated with buriza.

the double attack, n the critical

its sound like this:
2 (from geminate) x 2x critical (from buriza) = 4x critical!!!!!
but i think the chance is smaller than b4
5-10% chance (i don't know the real number for it bcoz i'm not good in math.. hehe..) for the 4x crit, n 15% chance for the normal critical from buriza

@drew. lvl4 geminate attack's cooldown is 2,5sec

EoS doesn't stack. I've tried... At some time, weaverwill attack with skadi (geminate attack can't be activated), and in the other time he will attack with geminate attack (no frost attack), buy Stygian Desolator results with the same. I've tried to buy that 2 items. 4 this guy, I buy:

This hero really gets killed by direct damage; I would get STR Power Treads, Hood of Defiance, and the assorted other items.

just to clarify, nerubian weaver can use Eye of skadi to work everytime, geminate must be in cooldown and it must be autoattack, once its out of cooldown, u just autoattack normally without frost attack. (geminate doesnt proc unless u manually attack a hero)

With Orchid, i think this hero got raped...
Even the new Cooldown on Timelapse doesn't help me.
Every weak shit Hero i could easily take out before Orchid, can now kill me without effort.
Propher for exemple - previously, he didn't have much to get me with.
But with the very long silence on orchid, + its Damage amplify, he can easily kill me when he gets to trap me.

i would say, the best pub hero for me.

Man, I watched replay where it took a whole team to take down weaver.

It sucks that Skadi doesn't fully stack with geminate attack. Skadi isn't an orb effect when ranged but its still an attack modifier. I think this should be fixed

You need 2x Tarasque bcoz he is low in hp and the dmg is huge , with this build you will own 100% , BEYOND GODLIKE ! try it

Just owned a game totally with this dmg oriented build. I dont think you need so much HP with Shukuchi and Time Lapse, also you get quite a bit of armor with all the agility.

1 2 Wraithbands,
This brings up your HP and gives some dmg
2 Threads
Self explanatory
3 MKB
The MKB proc is badass with Geminate Attack, also gives some good dmg.
Begin with 2 Javelins as the procc on those are good.
4 Buriza, his dmg is too low in the begining to make most use of it.
5 Butterfly
Self explanatory

Here's a lesson for you guys:
Spiders have four pairs of legs.
Ants have three pairs.

How many does Weaver have? ... exactly.

And she isn't even built like a spider.
Compare her to Brood.

Spiders don't have sectioned bodies like ants have. Hope this cleared things up.

Lol...my friends hate the weaver but I love him...Seriously if u have ur ulti all u have to do against strong opponents is wait for there heavy nukke or ulti and then u use ur ulti...slap em around abit with ur Geminate and when they run just use Sukuchi to finish em...Just remember keep ur noots of tread...THEY HELP U ALOT

Luv this hero... 1 of the best escapist Free permanent ward that can patrol around, A WW skill and an ulti that Removes damage!!!! For him, I'll make a harass build.

That's all you'll need actually... time lapse would be useful if u dun die after being nuked! HoT/vanguard could be considered...

OMG you're OH-SO-PRO using 3 orbs to this hero with actual has it's own orb.

Hard hero to use. You cant just buy some AGI items and pwn like you can with Drow. Takes some user skill
