His ulti isnt even nearly as strong as battery assault. It does a mini stun every .75 secs for 15 secs. That is INSANE. And not to mention the 80 dmg for every stun. 2nd skill is overall quite useless... 3rd skill pawns chickens at the fountain. INSANE. Hookshot imo is extremly hard to cast you want to get collision damage to other units. How do you hook something thats further up ahead than your other enemies without getting blocked? I think this is THE hardest skill to use for maximum effect

1. You can't kill chickens at the Fountain with the Flares.
2. The second skill isn't useless
yeah. hes really good. @rillin: 2nd skill is not useless traps heroes next to you so your mini stun pwns them. and ult is awesome. 3000 range! the stun aoe is quite large and a 2 second stun to a team in a fight is devastating.
Why I say the 2nd skills is useless: "The Clockwerk Goblin ejects pieces of his inner core to form a circular barrier around him, trapping nearby units in with him." Self explanatory. So long as you dont try to escape the barriers or as long as you dont touch it, whats the use? Ranged enemies can still get you. It should only be used as an escape. (teleporting while still being inside) This however is countered by ranged stuns. He has sufficient mp btw. There is no need for an arcane ring

First impression of this hero: FREAK!! OMGWTF I GOT HIT BY A CLOCK!!1 But i love this hero. With Battery Assault and Power Cog combo he is absolutely powerful. The ministun is just sooooo cool... The sight from Flare is a bit imba, though the 200 dmg is worthless IMO. And... my favorite is the hook. It's just like Tazan, just BUMP! and stun the enemy.
High HP, quite balanced mana & spell manacost. I love it.

Yup, your right there Zettez; soon enough this guy will get some sort of nerf as he is a bit too imba.
I think that powercogs keeps people outside of the 300 range. so if you powercog somebody into your battery assault, they get hit by every ministun. I haven't had a lot of time to play this hero, so if I'm wrong plz tell me. But that at least is the theory behind his move's synergy. Also Battery assault is an amazing farming skill. For item's i'd suggest going powertreds str, then Radience, then yasha, then battle fury, then finish sange and yasha. You should have won before you get bfury
Upon further testing bfury is not necessary. Rad, SnY then whatever you want is very good for this char. Although, bfury helps, you don't need it to win.
i'd be interested in hearing about some other builds tho.
yea i tried mom and vlads on this guy along with blade mail and i was owning people with a hook + cog combo but maybe radiance would of been nice aswell

good item build shuold curiass,2 bashers,1 tarasque , battle fury and travel, i think this is the best item build for goblin, but if you find a better set for him please post

I played this guy this afternoon and my endgame build was:
1. threads
2. sny > nice speed for chasing
3. radiance > togheter with battery gives nice chase dmg
4. kelen's dagger > get out of power cog or blink upon enemies to battery them.
5. satanic, power cog > blink or unholy rage > pwnage
6. HoT for nice hp boost.
plz comment this built and add / remove items

Battery assault is one of the best farm/stun skills I've ever seen.

He's very dangerous in the early game... he should be played in the mid so that he can easily gank in the right or left lane... and his hookshot doesn't work on teammates so it cannot be used it in escaping... he needs BoT especially in the late game... and he's not that effective in 1v1 games...
A vanguard+Heart+Radi=No stopping you, you will pwninate any 1v1.
What you do is hook in, trap, put up stuns and autoattack until they wither away from your awesome.
antimage can destroy this new hero.
with only power cog to trap heroes/burn away mana and hp, antimage can blink out and take on his nukes like eating pie.
lol.....1v1, this hero pawns the crap outta troll warlord. 15+ ministuns... the troll wont have enough time to get the permabash in.
also, if the troll flees, you can always flare and hookshot

Imagine your Pudge, you Hook, Rot, Dismember and your about to kill the guy the guy and out of nowhere you get Power Cogged. Clockwerk Goblin kills you. His mini stun skill is also really annoying.....and so is Rocket Flare.....and all of his skills.
Upon further testing bfury is not necessary. Rad, SnY then whatever you want is very good for this char. Although, bfury helps, you don't need it to win.
i'd be interested in hearing about some other builds tho.
OMG this guy is soooooooooooo awsome I got 14-0 kills in a game. I got Beyond Godlike at lvl 14. All i had in the end of the game was dagon and S Y and treads. my intended build was dagon treads S Y vladimir radiance MKB. Except the game only went to lvl 16.

he's the new hero is 6.53.
i think he's quite ok..battery would stop any channeling..proper end build would proly b bot(4 map domi since he's more of a support than going in alone),radi(gud combi w battery),hot(self-xplaind),linken's or bloodpact(since u'll proly b spaming his short cd skills),cuirass(weakens enemy,strenghtens urself),satanic(so u can juz cast evrything including unholy rage,right click the enemy,n go hav a nice cup of coffee..he'll 90% surely do d job

S&Y and HotD? you may need to replace one of the orb effect item. lifesteal is nice and needed for this hero to tank. change S&Y to Radiance/HoT/Shiva's.

This guy is way too imba. He's a very good spammer and he doesn't even need a RoB. His spells have mana cost less than 125. But for the user, he'll rule every single part of the game. He also has more speed than Yurnero. But he has really bad attack speed. When he gets treads, he's imba forever. And I find it very weird and off topic that this robo goblin fires a hook..

Lastly, his power cog is really imba. I'll explain: (this is late game)
Okay so rattletrap is being chased by Yurnero (who doesn't have ulti) rattletrap will power cog and yurnero is pushed away. Since he's imba so he defeats every power cog in a second. He will lose 800 hp and 800 mana (not pure) AND is pushed away far away. Rattletrap is in the top 5 most imba heroes in the game.
Oh and rllian, you suck. How is the 2nd skill useless? Its the best one. And if you're saying his ulti is the hardest one to cast, how would you even think about people taking pudge. His hook is twice has tough but I don't see people crying about that. The 3rd skill is imba I agree. But I bet there won't be any kind of noob who'll take a courier. Only good players take it and would place them in some good place if they saw rattletrap as a foe. Battery assault doesn't damage a targeted foe, it deals to random people in a 300 AoE. Multiply 80 with 15 which is 1200. 25% is taken out as spell resistance. 900 the total answer. Which is dealed to random units.. Which won't do anything much. Now do you get it? Or not? I don't care.

This items are good IMO coz he's basically a setter and a tank. He's got more life than Centaur (if Centaur doesn't have his ulti at level 3 yet). A good harraser because of his 1st skill, which is wonderfully cheap in manacost.

This guy is so easy to play and one of the best killers/ chasers. When I wanted to kill a hero, I just hookshotted him, used power cog, opened battery assault, and if he could get away (I had S&Y so not easy for him/her ^^) I used flare for the kill :)

its written imba all over his clockwork face, ive seen him in action and everytime ending in a pro's hands its getting 10-0 till mid game and 25+ till end game and 1-2-3 deaths tops, 1on1 with broodmother, almost same lvl brood had better items ( and a good guy playing the character ) brood got pwnt easly with ulti on. clockwork around lvl 9 2 bracers of strenght 1500+hp..

Don't get your hopes up. This is another dk moment. dragon knight once had a 100 hp regen rate, and naix was completely imba too. He will be nerfed. I'm sure rocket will be nerfed severely

Werk is quite the defender/ganker IMO, and can creep like nothing. However I don't doubt any lengthened cooldowns on some of his spells, but even as are he is still an exceptionally welcome hero to DotA.

too imba seriously 310ms too much. Global rockets with long lasting observer sight. Too imba. Also the hook has a stun! Also the range is too high. Potm arrow. The first skill too imba stun. More that eddit on ts. Oh well thats it pls nurf him icefrog. XD.

This hero is way easy to play. Why did icefrog not just give him an instant kill buttom.. first time I played him I had 8-0 in lvl 11.. What made this game fun was the ballance, and at the moment it is totaly unballanced -
ofc those people who just LOVE to own are having a fun time, but personaly I think it is borring when you can pick a hero and be almost 100% sure that u will win.. unless ofc your team sux big time. If this guy do not get nerfed, it will ruin dota.. unless he makes every
other heroes stronger..

Easy escape with Power Cog: Use the skill and A + click on the cog you want to destroy yourself, so you can escape through that way whilst blocking the enemies!

He is imba. I swear, he's insane. His battery assault is UBER

Cog thing traps them for 6 seconds with you, allowing maximum battery assault during that time. If not, then they get kicked back along w/ 100 mana burn and dmg.
Rocket is just a damaging flare.
Ult is opposite of meat hook that deals 300 dmg and stuns for 2 sec.
AND HE GAINS 2.9 STR!!
Yeah dmg is really high, but it is random target. (I think cd and mana cost needs to be fixed too)
I mean if you are alone against luna or juggernut they pretty much devastate you too.

Ncing with lvl 4 rocket is easy because while ur doing ANYTHING(Lane cntrl,rosh,hunting heroes,killing other ncs etc) u can finish off weak ncs. Adn they are usually finished off by the 4th rocket.

Ive played this hero many times. He has very good synergy. Here is the item build i have come up with.

Depending on wat im facing i either go for damage or maybe another heart. I never have a problem with mana using this build.
a battlefury would be also very useful if u dont wont to go 4 the orchid

damnit. this hero is based on his skills. DO NOT BOTHER FURY, ANY LIFESTEAL ITEMS, CRITICALS, MKB, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE ITEMS (besides radiance,course). treat this guy as a ganker. go bottle early. at times fire a rocket to check the damn runes. i dont care how bad you do, but by lvl 6, u've gotta have killed some1.
i don't like shivas or orchid on this hero, he have low mana pool and low int gain per level, i know, but his spells has really low mana cost so you actually don`t need anything of that, just the vladimirs gives enought mana, and if you want the perseverance(then battlefury)

wow his combo is like Pudge's own but the opposite. With Pudge you hook+rot+feast=death. But for Rattletrap you hook+cog+battery=death. No where to run wow scary.

When barathum is using first skill, barathum is so ready to give a "free-ride", but then, clockwerk noticed that, and he uses power cog, barathum get near, and he's pushed back,, barathum run afterwards again, and he's pushed back again... Barathum has just got a taste from his own medicine!! That must be hillarious !!! (if that really happens)

he's awesome. He got skills with low mana required haha! well, I don't think spamming the 1st skill is good at all. Maybe try to scare with it or farming... Oh yeah, the bad news is, it has a little bit high cooldown, 20, some are 15 which is the 2nd and 3rd skill and 30 sec for the Hook shot. at least the last skill will not hit the neutral creeps so, you can kill in fog w/o interferring the creeps at all. THats cool!
maybe the mana costs are a bit low, but he isnt incredibly imba. I like him, he is a good hero. fun to play too.

What does yurnero's movespeed have to do with anything? yurnero is a SHITTY hero, and is , unlike all other melee heroes, incapable of killing all the cogs, even within 6 seconds. the knockback is simply an anti-melee from outside force. This hero is balanced. battery leak (w/e) id perfectly balanced... doesnt do shit late game, and early game, only works if they are chasing, with no other creeps. hookshot is nulled by nutreals/alloies so.. its balancae.. 
arcane would be the best item for this goblin rather than its sibling..

This hero very strong early game coz of his battery assault. He feels very much a weak hero late game, more of support. But i guess it depends on items and situation ur in. I own this guy with dragon knight. Overall a great hero but battery needs to be nerfed.

look at its hp, 1 bracer can make his hp 2k, he's like an int hero with a tank feature. imagine of leshrac with tanking ability. yeah many says hes a good hero, maybe the best because this hero is so imba. it can kill heroes instantly, and hp wont be a problem anymore, since you have high strength growth. you'll be having 2- 3k hp in no time. and adding that he uses skills to kill, with low cooldown and less mana, he can easily spam skills..

Umm... very very imbalanced... any player can try this hero and get atleast a 5 kill streak at some point in the game, just ksing most of the time too with the infinite ranged rockets. honestly it should be limited to 4000 or something. and the range on the ult is way too long.
On another note, i've pwned this hero with meepo in 3 different games. generally makes battery assault useless and with 4 meepos he cant escape from me :)

Basically an uber chaser that doubles as a tank. He is only weak in the very late game, otherwise, he is a bit too powerful. First skill should be switched with the ultimate.
He does 1600 damage, but only 1200 to heroes.
- to "TheAurantile", his 1st skill(the battery assault) does a 15secs of ministun and an 80 dmg in every stun.So,if you chase a hero with this skill(creeps are not included),your enemy receives 1200dmg bcoz he gets all the stuns of battery assault.
NOTE: 80(dmg)x15(secs)=1200dmg...
only jah'rakal with BKB can kill this hero.....

actually, his mini stun is every 0.75 so it's:
15/0.75*80 = 2000 dmg! if the hero is alone being chased thru the woods, but in a timeframe of 15 secs, it's not very likely that you get to use up all 15 seconds on 1 hero, unless his team suck anyway.
On a side not tho, it's possible to cast Battery and use Lothar straight after and still keep Battery going, which is quite insane..
no hero can escape that.

the bloodstone will provide all the mana and hp you will need to keep using your skills in hunting lone heroes.
your main damage comes from the skills. The normal attacks are only bonus damage. choose any damaging weapon but i usually finish the game with just the items on top. sometimes I farm for a battlefury or radiance but i rarely goes that far.
lets do the math for this character
BATTERY ASSAULT:
15secs/.75secs= 20seconds
20sec.* 20 damage= 400 DAMAGE!!! at level 1
but if we compute for the level 4
15sec./.75sec.=20 sec
20 sec.*80 damage= 1600damage!!!!
thats a lot of damage but the bad thing is he needs 15 seconds to complete it.
that is why use RADIANCE because it stacks up with BATTERY ASSAULT. and use SANGE AND YASHA for the running needs. the normal attack will just serve as a bonus damage with this guy..
what happens if you are meat hoooked by hookshooting?
2nd skill is NOT USELESS if the enemy is almost dying you just 2nd skill sometimes trap em in and it does knock back!(to mp units)

I just started playing this hero today and holy crap is he good. I got at least 4 kills by shooting rocket flare ahead of almost dead enemy hero. The Ulti is good if you are chasing and your rocket flare is on cooldown. The Battery Assault is awesome as well. For items i get him 2x bracers, Power treads, battlefury, heart, then either a radiance or Satanic. With this build you can easily get over 4,000 hp. Another thing the battlefury has enough mana regen so you don't need an arcane ring.

- no need to have refresher. a combo is enough to kill a hero,maybe a row of heroes. COMBO:hookshot,power cog, then battery assault.
IMO this hero isnt IMBA at all. Battery assault has an animation that can easily alert enemy heroes and the mini stun not always hit, even if there is just 1 target. the rocket has nothing IMBA, 200 damage is not that much damage, sun strike is much better. Broodmother is much IMBA than this hero, she has invis,regen, reveals invis units, summon creeps, slows, has ridiculus lifesteal plus bonus damage.

- clockwerk is known to his battery assaut and not in rocket flare, you had just notice the range of rocket flare but the bad thing is,it is only 200dmg.well, it is good for last hit and revealing heroes.
I tried using him today and tired being a TANK.damn it worked! it was 2vs1 (im 1 of course)and i owned them. for my items i used trends,SnY,Vanguard,battle fury(optional.but i like it cuz of the mana and life regen),well thats enough cuz i finished the game already but if the game is longer i will add more items and it will be heart and basher. and damn,he actually runs fast!
