A nuke, a complicated disable, a great escape tool, and a pretty sweet ultimate (though I haven't seen her in action).
An all around decent hero.
Nice Hero Windrunners a great escape tool ulti is MAXIMUM ATTACK SPEED but, with a cost 50 reduced damage and only 10 attacks Power shot is awsome Shackel shot is good too!!

God this hero just became one of my favourites, poweshot is godly with harassing and ulti is somewhat powerless. But all a round nice hero with good escape tool, nice shackle (though a tad hard to use...) and ganking ability or two :)

Its a good idea. I had an idea however it was a revision for Medusa, who has alot of problems because of her pre-cast animation delay. 'Pin Shot' Which would replace that crap called chain lightning. Pinning them to the nearest object/tree. Looks like you beat me to the punch!
WTF, Int hero that is a ranger? Spells seems good but for an agi hero. Focus fire seems great but only for 10 attacks after that with that crappy attack speed she wont do a thing. But the ulti is very good. I say regular caster and a dpser once every minute.
What to get for her?
2nd skill needs a lot of practice

This hero's great. An anti-carry carry hero. The fact that she is INT (the worst carry hero trait) prevents her from being too imba, IMHO.
i just love this hero, i mean seriously, just the kind i like, has a nuke, disable, 2(yes two, power shot counts as an escape tool since it breaks trees) escape tools, a cahse tool, a farming skill, but a bad IMHO ulti. she is a carry afterall, and she has a nice base damage, aspd, and a high str gain. definately carry material

OMG I LOVE HER! She pwns soo much it snot even funny. Sure first game i played as her i lost but i got some good snipe kills in. Her escape skills isnt imba cause its only 5 secs and any magic stun will disable her *cough cough* proudmoore, leoric*cough*
I got eh phaseboots, arcane ring, orchid, assault curaiss, lothars, and didnt get that far late game but uh maybe deso? skadi seems kinda good too :)

She's not great to be honest..
Ulti depends too much on procc items to be good such as mjölnir and monkey king bar.
Her arrow is nice but imo it loses way too much damage go through mobs.
Her stun is kinda meh, if you are lucky it will pwn 2 heroes for almost 4 sec but most of the time it fails and only stuns for like 1 sec. Very situational.
All in all I think she's a bit weak, her auto attack damage is too low and stats gain too low.

noooo!!!!!!! bashers nooo!!! the great attack speed bonus is just for 10 attacks, and you will do that 10 attacks in 2 seconds maybe less, why bash the enemy?? he is not going to escape so easy, you deal the damage in a blink, so don't need stun theme, also without the ulti, her attack speed is just normal, so bashers no!!

i just used the hero, the 1st skill is kinda useless if youll be ganking an enemy...have to time it with the tree. and the ult is kinda lame without good items, and another problem is that, i dnt know what item to buy... one good thing about this hero is her 2nd and third skill... is necromicon a good item to her the third skill movement penalty gives to time to the necro to pummel the enemy.. and i think desolator is a good maim item... or skadi i think

i'd immaginge manta style being quite good on her..... 10 attacks at 40 mana/hit=400 mana... quite painful to energy intensive str/agi heroes.
ultimate chaser 1 bashers, S&y, helm of dominater, bot, butter, shiva = no chance for the enemy. skillz: use power shot if he is infront of u and creeps wait to the cd is over then go for him (try when not to many creeps)use shackleshot on him for stun then ulti not dead yet* power shot (ow fuck 100-200 hp letf chase him up with windrunner *use power shot first when u go for him it help with the cd

If you don't like proc items, don't get them. Stack damage.
Arrowing through mobs? There's a new item called phase boots. Use them.
If you're bad at the stun, get better. It fires over creeps, so it's very easy to use.
Her low stats are to balance her high damage. It makes her more dangerous/fun to play.
if you cant find any hero which can kill her try gondar.... Free kill when played well
Its so much fun to creep with her...you just use powershot to kill 2 creepcamps in one go^^
Good combo with the Powershot and the Admiral's ultimate. Take both those through the trees, stun, rape with WR's ultimate, and the chase will be easy with the bonus MS.

Ya; she is a really gay hero but,I played against her last night and played her as well. When I was pudge I dominated the windrunner with hook+rot+dismember. If she is disabled she dies like any other hero. All in all though she is very deadly and a good dps range character.
Disclaimer: I have NOT played 6.55 yet.
Orchid Malevolence, Shiva's armor, BoT, and Skadi seem pretty obvious. Bloodstone usually doesn't hurt, then maybe something reactionary like linken's or hood.

@kongming say you're doing 200dmgx10 attacks at maximum attack speed. At lvl 3 200dmgx10x(0.70)=1400 dmg good to finish off most 1/2 hp of mages and probably 1/3 hp of tanks
1400x2 = 2800 hp around most int/agility heros
1400x3=4200 hp probably alittle bit less then a third of an uber tank but regardless if they haven't been fed good enough
I know armor plays a factor but think of it as a finishing move

Windrun is actually pretty imba cause imagine her having 300 ms and using windrun should hav increase 50% ms so it will be like 150 so total if u add up the movement speed it will be 450...for 5sec
last skill isnt useless. Get a basher and malevolence, use malevolence and turn on ult bash em up. buriza would help too

This hero is fun.
At first I didn; know what to buy and in a game full of pros i could only farm mkb and orchid of malevolence.
It was great.
Here's a combo:
1. If you have Orchid, use it on a lone enemy.
2. Shoot and make them run to a tree or there's already a tree and use shackleshot.
3. Use your ulti cause its painful getting stunned(shackled) and hit with max attackspeed.
4. If enemy is low on health and dying, just powershot like pudge's hook. Headshot!!!askmeformorecombos..

A friend told me about her so I had to come and check her out.

No comments for third, and ultimate is not bad, they say its got a lot manacost, but, c'mon, she is an INT hero, just build her half INT/AGL.
It's a good idea but not the best one.
good if your build is spasmic 0ne! because her ulti causes your damage to decrease and lots of mana will be burned.. after all she can be easily killed even she has the wind runner..
this hero is not imba. It is balance. She has paper health. But her STR gain is quite high for an INT hero. Her shackle has no damage. She dun look like an int hero. I just doesn't suit her.

If you want attack speed, why not try SNY, Orchid, and butterfly? if you want faster attack speed sny and skadi is allowed too, if i'm not mistaken.

You are trying to make her as a dps only because her ulti give her max AS, but without that ulti, she is just another ranged Int hero, with low AS, so all of that dps items just are lost without the ulti.
She is a nuker with powershot and focus fire she can kill anything, so get this two: Gynsoo and Orchid, i promise this will be enought
just see: lvl 25 AS: 0.94 without any item
So, you still look at her as a dps?? IS JUST AN ILLUSION FOR AN ULTI TO IMBA!!

Vanguard - survive a few hits, hp regen.
Skadi - lots of mana (stun, nuke), slow, hp.
mkb - lots of ministuns when you ult (60sec cooldown. Abuse it!)
Helm of dominator - lifesteal+armour+damage.
Phase boots - Good synergy with windrunner also armour+damage+70ms.
optional stuff i got with her - euls for ms and disable. yasha, ms+armour(agility gives armour you know)
That's just my opinion. Most of you guys need to learn english =]

Skadi isn't useless if you have the mkb. Up until you get ++ damage you're an assist hero/nuker. But after skadi and mkb nobody can escape and 10 attacks in 2 seconds completely owns their hp.
I had a laugh with this hero so many times, i love the guys who buy intel items with her. Like hex and nulls, you buy dps items like mkb or desolater so the damage is crazy when you activate your ulti since mkb extra damage is the amount of hits you fire.

SOMEONE MAKE A MAD AS BUILD FOR THIS CHICK!!!!!
Good combo use orchid so when you use the ulti, your damage is just reduced 16%(obviously the extra 20% damage from orchid don't reduce directly the Focus fire decrease), and then hex, in sheep mode have no armor, so the enemy is going to take all your damage just reduced in 16%, and the rest would be like pure damage
she is not imba.. she has agi skills but an int hero.. btw, she also has low hp..
but she is versatile...
PT, Midas, Orchid, Stygian and Null mass seems to be a fine build in my eyes =)

People are soo confused about this heroe... Buriza WTF!!! She is inteli not agili. get a bas ring and spam ur power shot early game. Then phase boots. She soooo squishy. Max out her ww quickstatus. After phase boots I go straight for Sheep stick... Yes sheep.
Ulti after sheep. WW away and harras to finish off. She cant go hit for hit with anyone unless you get life/stat items. Mealstrom procs frequently with her ulti. Good synergie. She is not much of a carry and gets owned unless you are good

I think those phase boots will work well with her 3rd skill. Power shot can be used to cut down trees, hide in them, and throw another power shot out there. Good for ganks. Shackleshot can be used from hiding behind the trees too. Focus fire is definitely good for proc items, especially mjollnir.

i iplayed this hero. my items were, orchide, helm of dominator, pt, buriza, 2 bracer. pt gives %30 AS, orchide gives %40s AS. but hero ATTACK SPEED is very POOR.
you cannot make huge mana pool, AS and HP together in a normal game.
she needs balance. primary atr is int. ok but, agi must secondary atribute.

then u shackleshot ur enemy and u fire ur uli with a divinerapi :) (50% of base dmg reduced ) = 2500 min dmg in 3 sec after this u use windruner to escape from the other enemys

3rd skill is WAAAAY to imba. I mean COME ON, Omninights has like a 60 second cooldown, and it only lasts 9 seconds I think. This lasts 5 seconds, and only has a 20 second cooldown.That means 1/4 of the time, your immune to all physical damage. BS
I agree completely. The 3rd skill windrunner is way too imba. 20 sec cd 50% ms increase only 100 mana cost physical immunity and slowing. That is just way too imba. Please shorten the cd to atleast 35 or 40 and make the ms increase like 20 or 25 and the mana cost higher like 150 at least. Hope to see a start for this hero soon. And please make her balanced.

Just wanna say something again, she's pretty weak in 1 vs 1 games, she's WAY TOO SOFT in the early game, she needs to farm items QUICKLY! In a five on five match, correct me if i'm wrong, but she'll do better than drow in late game, provided she was given time to gather items. And again please stop comparing her to drow, drow can only do good on a 1 vs 1 attack, in a clash scenario on 5 vs 5 windrunner will do better, she has stun, a nuke attack, and an AOE attack. Also, observe that she's way too gear depended, and she'll die REAL QUICK without her 3rd skill. So don't say she's imba, she's hit and run, not stand and fight. This ain't Sparta alright?
I agree with the skadi+buriza build, but she also needs phase boots, butterfly(she's really soft so she needs it, better than cuirass, not worth the risk of getting hit!) Orchid and lothars. Use the lothars first, then pop up beside the target with 3rd and orchid, ss, and the rest is up to you.

This is my idea of her: first phase boots, that will improve her armor(more survibility), damage(best ulti) and MS ans phase hability(great for escape and hunt), then suit some talisman or bracers, harras with power shot, this deal great damage, and low cooldown, get vanguard if you want it, and begin the orchid making oblivion staff, at the beginning for a best set of the ulti, you probably need combo it with shackleshot. Finish the orchid, this is your core item
next, go for a gynsoo or desolator, i suggest gynsoo. Now you can get your best combo: First go and use orchid on the enemy, then hex him with gynsoo and focus fire him. the bonus damage that orchid gives will change the 30% reduction of focus fire, in 16%, wich is pretty cool, and in sheep mode, the target have no armor, so your damage will be about 150-180 in that levels
less the 16% reduction from focus fire (plus orchid improve) you will do about 130 damage per attack, but that would be pure damage(because there are no armor in sheep mode) so with focus fire you have done 1300 pure damage, pretty cool right?? then get desolator, and finish with buriza or MKB. that improves all the damage making the combo even better. Thats it, what you say about it?
NOTE: you perform the 10 attacks in 3 seconds, so good timing with gynsoo!

Everyone keeps going on about max attack speed, owns, is imba, but it isn't really. you get deso, burza, power treads and other things to boost her damage but in all my builds of her i'm yet to do over a 600 crit, take the 30% off that it's 420, minimum armour heros have late game is normally 25% so it goes down to 315, and that's only if you manage to crit on a shot... any str hero can weather her ulti once they hit later in the game, if you can't kill with the ulti you can't kill them

Just have a question silver, i observe she has a hard time on long range stunners and slowers, on your observation is that true? And she can't harrass heroes with high hp and hp regeneration too. I also noticed of all heroes, she also loses to Medusa, which i'm certain that you know why. I do believe there is one skill that needs to be reworked, there's just too much utility in this hero. Anyway just wanna hear your point.
i do believe that powershot needs to be reworked, it looks cool, but high hp and hp regen, not to mention defiance, or SS barrier, will negate the harassing power of powershot. Its good on creeps, but still its more of utility than killing power, it won't do any good in mid game to late game. It will do good on int heroes, but 3rd skill works on physical attacks, and i wonder if int heroes unlike alleria will even use physical attacks. One thing that could work is that powershot stacks damage.
I also have to say that while her skills are versatile, she herself is, ironically, pretty limited in purpose. she can only kill certain types of heroes, the others with support of other heroes. I realized one item that will remove the third skill, correct me if i'm wrong. That items ability is similar to one of our agi heroes ability. She has a strength which is also her major weakness, weakness that when that skill it is removed, you practically take her out of the game.
Is she stable now? I mean is this the final version of her? Did they give any notion of improvements on her?
let me broaden what i said earlier, on comment 190. Powershot is 2nd skill, Windrunner is 3rd skill. She powershots an int hero. Int hero attacks her. She pops up 3rd skill, and Int hero will just use skills. Its good if she has orchid and lothars, good counter to int heroes, but she'll do badly when she gets caught with them on cooldown(clash perspective, this is war after all, your opponent won't wait for your skills to cooldown!)Thats all i want to say. Any comments?

My personal build in this order is:
- Treads/Phase boots
- Desolator (great with ulti)
- Orchid (stop nukers and make ur ulti more effective)
- Bloodstone/Linkens(survival)
- Shivas (negative armor aura and slow to ensure kill)
- Buriza/MKB (late game damage)
Once you have orchid using the silence/amplify damage then her shackle shot followed by her ultimate pretty much ensures a kill. If it dosnt, finish them with powershot or chase with windrunner.

yeah, you're right, she has pretty cool skills but she is limited. Also is obviously she is better killing int or agi heroes(low HP) than killing tanks or Medusa like you say, but she is not the only one whit that trouble, much heroes can only kill int or agi heroes. Powershot is cool, obviously barrier, and HoD will block it, like they block a lot of other magic skills, so is probably it wouldn't be improved in future versions.
Use powershot to harras early game because it deal a lot of damage in this levels, just need to know how to aim it(taking in consideration the 1 second casting time) and then it could be used as a finishing skill because of it long range)just aim well. The third skill is incredible, ok, just give pishical invulnerability, but give 50% bonus MS, thats mean you probably will be moving at MAX MS!! so use it to escape or chase, in a 1 on 1 battle, just agains heroes that attack, not "wizards"!

the "wizards"(like i call some heroes) are the heroes that depend of his spells to kill(Lina, zeus) so don't use windrunner in a battle with theme expecting they attack you , and you say it only works on phisical attacks, loool!!, what you expect, that it work for magic too?? , phisical and magical inmunity, is easy called: invulnerability , if it block magic too, it would be reaaaaaaaaaaally powerfull and imbalanced, blocking just phisical is ok
and finally, she probably is done. Don't think she will be improved(or nerfed) a lot, so just begin to know her , she is item dependence because her ulti only will do the job if you have damage, and the other skills are not so great in a long game, so take good items and it would be fine(check my 175-178 comments, it would like to you) and boogieman69, she is int not agi, look at her as a nuker/ganker not dps(well a little bit ) but is int, get orchid and gynsoo, trust me.

There is no -correct- item build for any hero! I've seen STR heroes with Hex and Int heroes with heart. So what? Just depends on the enemies and your play style.

Personally I Prefer manta so when you have diffusal blade and then shackle the combination is lethal. Shackle is a surprise attack because if he's far away from either tree or creep it won't work.
Shackle = Initiator
Purge(Diffusal Blade) Chase afterwards
Besides Manta Style would burn away 400 mana after the focus fire,
Lothars, get behind hero, activate manta, focusfire and the hero would most likely lose a potential 800-1000 mana depending on attack speed. Illusions included.
Oh and I think the orb effect chart needs an update. Recently orb effects don't stack I think, Like Skadi and Mjollnir. I THINK, i'm not sure. though.

IMO useless without her ulti. How do you expect to get kills with such a poor agi gain considering she's dps based? I think this one would be a slightly weaker version of harbinger. Anyway, this hero cannot be a carry or perform 1 on 1s. With her low damage, killing could be pretty difficult. I mean, look at her skills? She requires backup. Windrunner would be an EXTREMELY painful skill in a team gank

Faceless Void has been harassed by this hero at level 1 and they change lane with Pit Lord, with proper timing of second skill of Alleria about 4 power shots, he was dead at level 6.
A little item dependence, but if you look her, she is not totally a DPS, just her ulti is useful with dps items, but don't get butterfly on her or hyperstone to make her more dps, IS JUST AN ILLUSION FOR HER ULTI!!, if you look her again, her AS is pretty normal, not like a DPS, if you want burst her damage, get orchid(60 damage for her) is the best, and then desolator for armor reduction and more damage(60), but butterfly is useless just 30 damage, evasion is not necesarry she has windrunner 
with BKB, she is UNSTOPABLE
Try MKB+MoM (frenzy's additional dmg cant hurt u if u windrun ;) travels for chasing and map control and skadis for the all-in one imba package ;)
Her ulti at lvl3 compared with a Desolator is a pain in the ass for everyone if he's stunned near her . . .Especially , when the stun lasts 5 secs . . .
