Yes, it does.
If you change it into aegis and put 6 of them your items slot, you'll have 99.99% damage reduction from magic.

Great against characters like Ogre Magi in a 1vs1 game partially because Ogre Magi has very slow and low attack damage.

Magic resistance do stacks, but about buying 6 Aegis, I just play it for fun, cause you got no damage increament from Aegis.
So, don't do that XD
Ah by the way, the increament not 15% + 15% thought but,
15% + ((100 - 15) x 15%)
= 26.25% magic damage reduction.

just make into 3 hoods +24 hp regen per second and 90% spell reduction and collect the aegis's dropped from roshan this and hood are good since thy stack with antimages 3rd skill

use this to make hood of defiance.

i get this just for hood of defience

1: 85% dmg taken
2: 72.25% dmg taken
3: 61.4125% dmg taken
4: 52.200625% dmg taken
5: 44.37053125% dmg taken
6: 37.7149515625% dmg taken

bottom line, in 1v1 versus lina/anub'arak or so just get hoods instead

the magic reduction only stacks twice,and one hex ur armor and magic reduction will be 0% for 3 or 4 sec zz

magic reduction stacks all the way, but diminishingly with each cloak/hood u're currently carrying.
