Animal Courier

Good for transporting items from your base to you. Don't put an undroppable item on these like aegis, because.... well.... it's undroppable

can u kill ur own courier? Hit "A" and clicks ur chicken? then it would be dropped, yes?

Only heroes can't drop undroppable items but couriers can try it

This little fellow makes it convenient for me whenever i need to buy items/recipes or healing items.But i'll never be able to find it when i need it,especially when i sent it back to base by clicking the map on the previous errand.

To lupeman: Dude, u can only "deny" on ur creeps.. you can't kill ur chicken by pressing "A" then click on chicken..

u can tk ur own teak heroes. thats also denyin though... r u sure u cant kill ur chicken?

How can you use the courier in team? in many guides is written to buy it for the team... can other team heroes use your courier?

Yes. The key is, share unit control (one of the menu clickables at the top enables shared unit control).

problem about that is if an ally also wants to use the courier, they will move the chicken away from u.

i put an item on the chicken once and a dickhead decided to control my chicken away from me for 10 minutes with a Gem of True Sight and Sacred Relic in the inventory. he fed the enemy twice with his hero and with the chicken with my items. needless to say, my team lost the tower shortly aftawards.

Courier -> When purchasing a courier, Sentinel will get a random selection of Chicken, Raccoon or Penguin, while Scourge will get a random selection of Carrion Beetle, Dune Worm or Fel Boar.

Get the flying courier with a dagon and buy a dagon for yourself. works great for lion

i dont understand why it would be zeus, chicken can be killed in one shot. cept by Goblin Techies at low lvls cos his base damage is so low

the lastest version in DoTa all the animal courier changed. In sentinel side is with all the cute animal like racoon and penquine and chicken. In scourge side is monster dragon looking worm, pig and a beetle dat looks like nurubain assassin

There are a few benefits to a chicken that haven't been discussed. And all that stuff about putting a dagon (or other item) on a chicken is absurd. Funny, but absurd.

1. How many times have you had enough money for the item you were saving up for, but you die, lose your money, and then don't have enough? The chicken solves this issue because you can buy the item immediately after you have enough gold. Then if you die, your item is waiting for you and you lost little gold from dying.

2. The cost of a chicken is 225 gold. The amount of gold I make each game while my chicken is running out to me, instead of me running back and forth to base is way more than that. Plus, you miss out on exp when you leave the front lines to go shop. Let your 225 gold investment give you that slight exp edge.

3. Chickens are a great place to build your recipes. Instead of dropping items on the ground to combine your dagon, say, you build it on your chicken. This way, other players can't grab your crap (darn players in pub games). You know that this has happened to you.

4. A word of caution. Don't have your chicken shop at the secret shop unless you know it's safe. This may be the real purpose for upgrading to a crow. The crow can zip in, shop, and zip back out. Also, it won't die from someone's radiance (or Razor's ult) because it's spell immune.

i like to use the chicken to pick up my allies items wen they drop them adn then i hide the chicken and say it wasnt me cuz i was in my lane........

haha i like wasting my time changing it to a chicken...you know what i don't get? Why does the ai in .44 always have like this giant mess of couriers? I get like 50g from them every time he comes by! Or maybe its cos the ai's picked chen EVERY time....know how to fix my problem?

yes you can put dag0n to an animaL courier & use it to kiLL opposing creeps, neutraL or enemy heroes., make sure they dont see it, or for sure they'LL kiLL your courier..

At what version that had mini pudge

mini pudge was hilarious i think it was versions (at least) 6.4 to 6.5, but mini pudge was too noticeable thus making the courier easier to kill.... so...i usually get the raccoon or any other animal that camos' with the ground
