Sentry Wards

*error* price of sentry wards is 375gold. Good item to piss heroes like SA and Techies in early game. ; ) definately worth the gold if your playing with ww-ers..

SA is good with this item too, walk up from behind enemy, plant it there, smokescreen, attack, blink strike if necessary and they fall back, they go into the ward. much better than observer wards

note, the ward is mainly for seein enemy heroes who can windwalk to help or the black arachnias web if its around (god that broodmother annoys me so much when i play rikimaru)

as i said in observer wards these dont last as long but can give u the advantage of truesight. doesnt last nearly as long as observers and i think they changed the price so these are cheaper than the other ones now =S

what is the range pls.

about 600. not really sure. but range is good enough to see peole wandering around in the forests.

i prefer not to buy this item. waste of money.

it s cool but it is not waste of money we should place them in sceret place which they do no where we placed

on river where runes respawn, near secret shops and roshan, but u really only need this to detect invis units. observer wards last longer and can see further

Once again, sentries has been reworked. Rikimaru beware! Its duration has been (overly) buffed to 6 mintues but it has small sight range. Hmmm...the icon is changed too.

SA also can buy sentry wards to spot urs sentry ward n destory it beofre u come n camp for his lunch!!!!!!!!!!!

Not if I put them in blind spots where they can't be seen directly sentries give true sight even when hidden in trees.

Rikimaru has always been able to buy wards. Its good to get Rikimaru Gem of True Sight cos it will counter this item. If your Rikimaru, don't buy the gem, wait for someone to drop it.

I use this when i have invis char liek bounty, sa, templar,etc

Tis thing make my slayer become invisible.

Can ur creeps c invisible units when u put this ward? or only urself?

This isn't a waste of money. What do you prefer early in beating broodmother. A gem worth of 750 or a ward (2 charges which is only 1/3 of the price) that costs 200. Even if you die in first blood, you lose 200+ gold. Why just buy those some wards for survival.
